Jean autopsy results reveal how a manchester man died tuesday s office says Michael Pittman was shot in the torso outside his apartment on granite street. Investigators are calling his death a homicide. And they are still searching for the suspect. Authorities say the shooting is not random. Josh two men are facing resisting arrest charges after a pair of foot chases in 27yearold cory roukey was wanted on another warrant. Police found him at the subway on Second Street yesterdya afternoon. After locking himself in the bathroom he started running. An officer took him into custody after tasing him. Police say a friend, 24yearold Aaron Birmingham of lebanon, he was eventually arrested as well. Jean an investigation is underway after a small plane registered to a seacoast man crashed in the water near new york city last night. One body was recovered. It s not clear if the owner of the plane was the person on board. Wmur s Shelley Walcott joins us live from the newsroom with more. Shelley police say the plane that crashed off the coast of new york, was registered to james mcgee from rye, New Hampshire. One body was recovered after the plane went down about a mile and a half off breezy point in queens. But the identity of the victim has not been released. The ntsb says no one else was on board the twoseater plane when it crashed. The plane had taken off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport and was en route to Portsmouth International airport at pease. The faa says no distress call was ever made. Witnesses describe seeing the plane. He was really low. You usually don t fly that low, and you usually go straight across the ocean. You don t fly over breezy point. Shelley the ntsb and the federal Aviation Administration are investigating. A preliminary report on the crash will be released in 10 days. This afternoon the secretary of state said he takes sanders stated affiliation at face value and had no basis to challenge it. The vermont senator stopped by bill gardner s office just before 3 00 p. M. This afternoon. The halls lined with his supporters. He made his filing, held a brief press conference, and then headed outside for a big campaign rally. Sanders says he is launching nothing less than a revolution to take down what he says is a corrupt system rigged for millionaires and billionaires. As far as comment on his Party Affiliation even though he had Party Chairman ray buckley at his side to validate his status as a democrat sanders doesn t exactly sound like someone fully embracing the party of jefferson and jackson. For this campaign right now, i m running as a democrat. I intend to win this nomination, and i intend, by the way, to help lead a transformation of the Democratic Party to bring in more young people and bring in more working people. Adam sanders was asked about his relative lack of retail campaigning here in New Hampshire. He said it is something he does at his rallies. He essentially said he can t help it if his message is resonating with a lot of people and drawing big crowds. That makes it harder for him to meet oneonone with every voter. The first was florida senator marco rubio who had to ask for a pen before he could officially file. After making sure his paperwork was in order rubio took questions from reporters. He gave a sharp response to comments donald trump made in in concord yesterday, when he said rubio s personal finances were a, quote, disaster. I find it ironic that the only person running for president that s ever declared a bankruptcy four times in the last 25 years is attacking anyone on finances. Josh trump has pointed out that he never filed personal bankruptcy. Rubio says he has never done anything illegal or unethical when it comes to money. I believe that we will win. I believe that we will win. Josh not long after rubio, a chanting crowd greeted carly fiorina. After filing her forms and thanking supporters, she was asked about her own perceived with the ladies of the view. Josh manchester mayoral challenger joyce craig has filed for a recount after losing the election to incumbent ted gatsas by just 85 votes. After the results were announced tuesday the mayor celebrated his 4th term but Alderman Craig is not conceding yet. Official Election Results showed 10,000 and 46 people voted for gatsas compared with 9,000 900 10,046 people voted for gatsas compared with 9,000 900 9961 ballots cast for craig. The recount could happen as soon as monday. Jean the state attorney general s office has determined that a deadly officer involved shooting in merrimack was legally justified. Officers shot and killed 23yearold Harrison Lambert back on september third outside of his parents home. The just released ag s report says lambert s father called 911 to say lambert was armed with a knife and threatening his parents. Three officers responded, and according to the report, told lambert to drop the knife, but he ran towards them, and two opened fire, killing him. Tonight, seven people are displaced after a fire in berlin. Flames tore through the Second Avenue Apartment Building around 5 00 this morning. No injuries are reported.
