>> it turns out that a lot of cars were waiting for a different landslide that happened earlier, to be cleared so they could continue on. but while they were waiting, according to reports, is when the second larger landslide happened and they had nowhere to go. >> look at it and it almost looks like water running down a hill. >> it looks like a muddy waterfall. >> it's horrible, they had no options, nowhere to go. >> at least seven vehicles were trapped under this and maybe as many as 20. some people have been identified that did not survive. some are injured. and there are many people still missing. >> i can't imagine how horrifying to be in your car and to have literally nowhere to go. >> the video that shows the actual landslide happening we found on a colombian news station. some reports were saying they're now on a recovery mission. there's another video that was posted on youtube by another news channel that shows what the road looked like from up above from a helicopter. >> oh, my gosh, that's massive. that's even more terrifying to see from that angle, you see how much of the road w covered. >> it's almost sre to see these images. and you see side of the landslide. people were trying to help clear the roadway when this happened. >> this region of colombia is known to have a lot of landslides, so this is something that happens often there. and there are casualties because of them. i've got a round-up of glad it's not you videos. the snowy roads of eastern europe. you know what's going do happen. >> this is a familiar place for us. >> oh! >> man, oncoming, head-on collision, snowy roads, luckily it looks like the speeds were down. it wasn't too fast of a collision. and that one we can't even say that was somebody's boneheaded move. that was just the elements. >> that's just one. here's another video, the roads here are cleared, maybe a little too much speed. because he tries to pass this guy, but -- >> oh, snap. >> good thing that snowdrift was there. because that snow headline drift stopped that guy from going into that house. >> he still snapped a telephone pole in half. you can see the top of the pole is broken off. and in the description he says, the power went out to a house nearby, because he saw the spark. >> did the guy have his turn signal on. >> he doesn't have his turn signal on. watch again. >> wow. >> no blinker. >> bang. >> talk about crazy luck. >> what do you think of this one? i think it will be pretty obvious once you see it. crummy conditions. the weather is not good. >> but the roads appear to just be wet. >> confused by this. >> look at the siller car passing on the left. brake lights and then just swerves into oncoming traffic. spinning the car around. >> he's out of the car. >> ejecting somebody who was in the car out onto the road. you see him on his back. miraculously the description on the video says the guy got out with injuries, was hospitalized, but was okay. >> it really is amazing that he survived. because the impact was so strong. the car basically shattered into a million little pieces. >> well guys, since this happens on the 27th of january, maybe we can find this guy and prevent this accident. >> yeah, let's stop this from happening. check out what this home surveillance caught in chula vista, california. a u.p.s. truck comes up, makes a christmas delivery. heads back to his van. watch what happens about 35 minutes later. an unmarked delivery van drives by the house, stops in its tracks and backs up. he takes the package that the u.p.s. guys have just dropped off. walks right off the front porch. because of the surveillance camera, they were able to get a good look at this guy's face. after some time and a little conversation with the neighbor, the owner of this home calls the chula vista police and the company that this driver works for. this was a delivery van. watch what the surveillance camera captures next, 5:25 in the morning after the police and the company have been called -- someone comes back to the front porch wearing what looks like the same shorts as the delivery man who took the package and they bring the package, opened, and lay it on the front porch. to tell us all about this, we have the owner of the home, zane johnson, via skype, "right this minute" from chula vista, california. tell me exactly how you identified this driver. >> i had shown my neighbor the video the next day. he gives me a call and he says, i saw that van driving down our street. i followed the van until i could get his license plate. and then i flashed my lights and pulled the guy over. >> what?
