But investigators ruled out overcharging on a similar battery on a 787 in boston. The issues with the batteries are raising questions about the safety of all lithium batteries. Theyre compact and powerful, but if theyre faulty or abused, they can catch on fire or explode. But experts say the chances of incidents like this happening are very slim.
