m lisa cooney. headlines are straight ahead. it seems like the big story right now. randi: on my way in this morning, the weather this morning is very wildly depending on where you are. we have foggy conditions downtown. level2 snow emergency in adams county. it does depend where you are for what you will be running into. we have some mist still falling around the 71, 75 corridor. heavier snow east of 68. starting out in portions of highland county along 62. moderate snow falling from they were under a level 2 snow emergency this morning and had two inches of snow on the ground then. south of the river, lighter snow falling and moving through germantown, kentucky. this looks better than it did a couple of hours ago. there is fog in plac e. the dense fog advisory in effect until 8:00 this morning. winter weather advisory unsold 10:00. there could be some tricky travel this morning. i promised some 60' s in the seven-day forecast. mark: breaking now, investigators are on the scene of a deadly house fire in mason. this is a live look at the scene. few details are being released, but we have confirmed at least one person has died in the fire. someone called 911 around 1:45 olympia drive home fully engulfed in flames. much of the home is destroyed this morning. the coroner has arrived on scene, but no other details are wlwt news 5' s dan griffin will have a live update just ahead. lisa: in springfield township, a fire too intense for firefighters to try to rescue a man inside a home. neighbors along timbermill court say the victim who died was a hoarder. firefighters found the man near the kitchen. they say the fire might have started in an enclosed patio. the homeowner kept pets in cages inside with space heaters running. >> when he' s found in the kitchen, who knows? he may have been attempting to exit. he may have been attempting to put out a fire, maybe in the kitchen. we don' t know. lisa: investigators are still pinpointing the cause of the fire. they haven' t released the victim' s name. mark: an arrest in connection to the death of a middletown a person of interest is behind bars, but not charged in brittany russell' s death. the mother was found shot to death in her car last week in dayton with her 6-month-old baby in the back seat unharmed. police tell our nbc affiliate in dayton they have arrested a 37-year-old man on unrelated drug charges but believe he is linked to britany russell' s death. >> we' re glad that he' s behind bars and we' re hoping that they go forward with more charges and we' re hoping they go for the maximum. mark: wlwt is not naming the person of interest, since he has not been charged in russell' s death. the 37-year-old will be arraigned on those unrelated drug charges today. fog will be a big factor in your morning commute this morning in the greater cincinnati area. lisa: and to our southeast, more snow causing trouble for drivers. andrew setters is in live drive 5 taking a closer look at the roads now. andrew: good morning. we are noticing bit of fog this morning. you may see more and more of it. we' re heading into adams county and brown county. a lot of the snow missed essential part of the area and fell to the east. they are under a level 2 snow emergency. significant snowfall for the overnight hours, even though you are waking up to find a little bit of fog. no major problem for cincinnati downtown and a lot of the viewing area. snow to the east and we will find out in adams and brown count ies. lisa: breaking up with someone and then posting sexual pictures of them all over the internet could soon become a crime in kentucky. wlwt news 5' s tammy mutasa talked with a victim who says s about time. tammy: one victim tells me she was so humiliated, she didn' t want to leave her house. she says her ex-boyfriend posted naked videos of her online. now kentucky lawmakers say jilted exes beware. >> it had been like somebody had hit me in the stomach. it was personal disbelief and partially feeling completely violated. tammy: this northern kentucky victim thought she trusted her boyfriend until they broke up. she says her ex blasted naked videos and pictures of herself online. her friend saw them first. >> he had shown him some videos of me on his phone and said, "oh, i have these videos and i have these pictures. i' m going to post them all over the internet. i want everybody to see it." tammy: kentucky lawmakers are now pushing to make it a crime for people who spread porn without the victim' s consent. it' s upgraded to a felony if a revenge porn. >> i think it' s time that more states step up and make a law like this to make this illegal because it' s not just kentucky that' s got people who are being hurt by this. tammy: eventually the victim' s brother convinced the website to take down the images. but the traumatic damage was done. >> i was so embarrassed about the whole situation. i didn' t even want to be around people. tammy: this victim hopes it will become the law to help other victims. >> i would never have imagined he would do what he did with them. tammy: the bill will be heading to the senate. lisa: strengthening laws against revenge porn is becoming more and more common. as of 2015, 26 states and washington, d.c., have laws on the books. they range from misdemeanor offenses to states like illinois, where posting non-consensual images is a mark: turning to commitment 2016. they each have won a state so far on the road to the republican convention, but now donald trump is demanding an apology from ted cruz. trump called cruz a liar a number of times during his campaign events monday in south he says some of cruz' s ads are apologize, he' ll sue. trump says since cruz was born in canada, he' s not eligible to run for president. s an unstable person. i watch him. i see him. and i always say he' s a good debater, but he can' t talk. re not in grade school where you just get to say "liar, liar, pants on fire" and not respond to the substance.
