this is wlwt news five. lisa: i' m lisa cooney. but first a check of the weather with wlwt news 5 meteorologist randi rico. >> the good news, not a whole lot to scrape off the cars. over night accumulation minimal. let' s take a look at the radar. as we take a peek on the radar, we' re looking at cloudy skies all across our area. still dealing with larry' s and light snow showers. areas to the east of the loop, snow showers moving through into southern highland county. additional coding on the roads, so you may see traveling on 68 between fayetteville, roads that were cleared may now have an additional coding. rolling to the east into buford and newmarket. into kentucky, another batch of light snow showers near the you can see the deep blue, even though it is a quick moving snow shower, is enough to coat the roads and toss down an additional dusting. we will see this through the late morning. a winter weather advisory in effect for the area should expire around 10:00. potential for quick dusting to create slick spots in sometimes this morning. 15 degrees, wind out of the west at 10 mile an hour. it feels like three. when on single-digit wind chills all day long. pockets of snow showers. i knew them snow is pretty much over. 19 degrees, cloudy and windy. more sunshine late in the day but it will still feel like around nine degrees. temperatures in the teens, many wet roads has some re-freeze. news 5 dan griffin is in life five taking a closer look. we' norwood. taking a look at the roads, looking good. the dusting you are talking about, we have seen it. roads are wet. on cars as we head out this morning. as we drive along the street, cars are covered with snow. be prepared to clean those off. norwood city schools on a one-hour delay. many school district morning, students may get to go in a little bit late will stop that is something to keep in mind as you head out the door. something else to think about is black ice. i had to guess at a red light the turned green and my tires started to spin. i did not see anything. that is something to keep in mind as you head out. we will be driving around tracking roads conditions for you from live drive five. >> now to commitment 2016. ohio governor john kasich has a big finish. lisa: giving us a look at what is next for the kasich campaign. tracks hello. on to south carolina for john kasich will stop three or four days ago, a visit down to south carolina seemed like it was kind of of in the air. but all of that changed in the last couple days. a lot of confidence coming out of the kasich camp. while they went on the trail, they set the kasich bust out to south carolina and chartered a late-night light that left at midnight to south carolina. they saw something in the numbers and saw the tide starting to turn. >> we are at the beginning of the campaign season. tonight we had to south carolina and we will move through south carolina and and up in the so much is going to happen, if you do not have a seatbelt, go get one. [applause] >> technically speaking, the precincts are still reporting from new hampshire, this is the current percentages as a 4:00 a.m. there you see sanders was 60%. an estimated 93% of precincts have reported. child leads republicans with 35%. sanders 60% on the democrat side. lisa: here they are splitting up. focus on south carolina. primary on saturday and then on to nevada for the kentucky speedway, some light snow showers over toward ball some. traveling do east through indiana, the level of snow, napoleon to look out along 48. fairly light but strong enough to coat up the road and cause some light additional accumulation. we will see that through the morning. winter weather advisory through 10:00 this morning so watch out showers may coat the roads. several more hours
