with marshall as she has done many times. >> he was like a father to me. i lived in the same house with him many, many times, had my son left alone with him and never felt any reason to worry about anything. brian: and surprisingly, marshall's son, the one who made the allegations agrees. >> i just feel like it's the pictures. i would trust him with my son wholeheartedly. i just feel like he's got a little something wrong with him and needs some help. brian: for now, the man who was known as the director of security is secured behind bars. now some family members say that marshall and his rate of speed hit a school bus in troy north of dayton. it happened on ohio state 55. officers say the driver of the car was swerving around traffic when it hit the bus. the bus driver was not hurt, but six students have minor injuries. the driver of the car who was not wearing a seat belt was ejected and killed. we now know the victims of a house explosion in southern kentucky included three adults and one child. kentucky police have identified them as a married couple. their 1-year-old granddaughter and a 32-year-old man. another man, the son of the grandfather, survived, he was in the explains why the company says it had to make the cut. karin: the company tells me many projects were in the process of shifting from the development phase to the production phase and there was no g.e. aviation has offered a voluntary early retirement to several hundred eligible engineers. kennedy says the reduction represents about 7% of the overall g.e. aviation engineering population in the united states he says the company will employ more than 3,000 engineers in cincinnati. looking at the bigger picture the few hundred may not seem lining a lot, but it's still 307 people and families affected. >> we do have a lot of g.e. customers. in fact, a lot of the businesses that support this business including g.e. karin: g.e. tells me this is not a response to declining business. the look outside live now. i-71 south at the exit always busy during oath the morning and evening rush. city officials say once the martin luther king interchange opens, this congestion will be relieved. the martin luther king jr. ramp off of i-71 is the beginning of a transformative project that will breathe life into the uptown areas. tonight wlwt news 5's courtis fuller joins us on the jobs impact we could be seeing over the next decade. hi, courtist. courtist: people close to the project call it an innovative corridor. efforts are underway right now to make the economic benefits as inclusive as any project >> uptown is already a dominant job center. we feel that this will take it into a whole new level. courtis: as the visible signs of change in this area move forward, the vision of the martin luther king project is led by the consortium. if you need a perspective about the scope of this project, consider this. it will dwarf major development on the banks and over the ryan. >> we think so. the area around the new interchange will be about 44 acres in the first generation of development. courtis: and the hope the first generation of new jobs. >> we're thinking this is a five to 10ier horizon, but there has been one economic study done that says the total impact in terms of additional jobs over the next five to 10 years of all of this development in uptown could be as many as 9,000 jobs. courtis: this massive project transforming other areas around the country near major universities and health care facilities. >> it's similar to east baltimore what john hopkins university is doing there, also cortex in st. louis where they're transforming a similar area and also in cleveland at university circle and near the cleveland clinic. courtis: you know, when you hear about this project, it's very exciting. one important part of this project is making sure residents are included in the change ahead. meetings are already taking place on a regular basis to actually reach out to citizens and community groups about opportunities to tap into this lisa. lisa: in addition to road construction, we're told you can expect to see development rising up over the next 12 to 18 months. detained a man found with two handguns and a copy of the koran outside a hotel at disney land paris. the arrest comes as france remains on edge under a state of emergency. our reporter from paris. reporter: french police have arrested a man with two guns. the suspect is 28 years old, was not on any watch list by french authorities here. he was also discovered to be carrying a koran and some attention to the buildings that people have walked away from and overgrown. they're sightly and they could be used by a family. dan: the two communities are the 21st and 22nd to be part of the program. in past years, they have reviewedalized streets and parks making them cleaner and safer. the work is set to start in march and april. >> it's huge, yeah. attention from the city, attention from the community, it's money, but there are a lot of things we would like to get done that hopefully we can get dan: community leaders hope the hard work will pay off meaning booming success in the represents the fact that temperatures are running 10 to 15 degrees warmer for many of us than they were 24 hours ago. so enjoy the relatively mild weather this evening because it will come to an
