as i expect, improvements will start taking place as we head into the midnight hour. we continue to watch the storm system sliding its way up the appellations. very interesting, what is happening across the area on radar. look at this. the rain across kentucky and into south-central ohio, it is starting to turn blue. we are starting to see the rain transition to snow. we have a little bit of processes happening where it is raining down heavy enough in some of these locations. it is dragging colder air down so it transitions to snow. it will go back-and-forth for a while. a lot of this is mixed in with sleet and cold rain. nothing really accumulating yet. as temperatures continue to drop, more areas of snow will drop over northern kentucky. a handful counties, this is where we expect the greatest accumulation of snowfall to take place overnight. mainly eased of highway 68 and 2-4 inches of snow. here in the metro, this will not be much of an issue at all. if we pick up a quarter inch to a half inch, this would probably be on the high side. here you go. parts of brown county, highland county, and down into mason and robinson counties, if you want to draw a line, that is where just the last year. mike: kentucky state police investigating this crash. the driver of the semi trailer was not heard. sheree: breaking up with someone and then posting sexual pictures of them all over the internet could soon become a crime in kentucky. tammy mutasa talked with a victim just a short time ago who says it is about time. tammy: one victim tells me she was so humiliated she did not even want to leave her house. she says her ex-boyfriend posted naked videos of her online. now kentucky lawmakers say jilted ex is -- exes better beware. >> it was like someone had hit me in the stomach. it was partial disbelief and partially just feeling completely violated. tammy: this northern kentucky victim thought she trusted her she says her ex blasted naked videos and pictures of herself online. her friend saw them first. >> he had shown him some videos of me on his phone and said, i have these videos and i have these pictures. i am going to post them all over the internet. i want everybody to see it. tammy: kentucky lawmakers are pushing to make it a crime for people who spread porn without the victim' s consent. it is upgraded to a felony if a perpetrator tries to sell the revenge porn. >> it is time that more states to make this illegal. it is not just kentucky that got this. victim' s brother convinced the website to take down the images, but the traumatic damage was done. >> i was so embarrassed about the situation, i did not want to be around people. tammy: a kentucky committee hernandez milley -- unanimously >> i would never imagine that he would head done what he did with them. tammy: stop and think before sending pictures to just anybody. now the bill is going to be headed to the senate. sheree: strengthening laws against revenge porn is becoming more common. as of 2015, 26 states and washington, d.c. have laws on the books. they range from misdemeanor offenses to states like illinois, where posting nonconsensual images is a felony. >> it has really caused people to take a serious look at the department. mike: a call for accountability tonight. neighbors meeting with the team reviewing the uc police department. tonight' s meeting was an open forum to introduce the consulting team that will handle the review following last year' s traffic stop shooting death of officer ray tensing. the major goal was getting the thoughts and perspectives of the entire community. >> i think getting the thoughts of the public is very important for the review. mike: the consulting team will review uc' s police department, but not the facts of the shooting. that will be handled by the court. a final report is expected in june. sheree: an arrest in connection to a middletown mother. a person of interest is behind bars tonight, not charged in britney russell' s death. the mother was found shot to death in her car last week in dayton with her six-month-old baby in the backseat. police tell our nbc affiliate in dayton they have arrested a 37-year-old man on unrelated drug charges but believe he is linked to britney russell' s death. >> we are glad that he is behind bars and we are hoping that they go forward with more charges and sheree: wlwt is not naming the person of interest right now since he has not been charged in her death. the 37-year-old will be arraigned on those drug charges tomorrow. a covington man is facing charges for stealing money from parking meters. andre scott was arrested yesterday. a witness called 911 after watching the 36-year-old break into a parking meter in downtown cincinnati. police found eight dollars and $.85 on scott when he was arrested. he now faces theft and criminal damaging charges. mike: a fire too intense for firefighters to rescue a man inside a home. the victim who died was a corner. they say -- was a order -- a hoarder. they kept heads in cages with space heaters running. >> when he was found in the kitchen, who knows? he may have been attempting to put out a fire in the kitchen. we do not know. mike: investigators are still pinpointing the cause of the fire. a have not released the victim' s name. a family forced out of their madisonville home tonight after a fire. investigators say unattended food in the kitchen started it. everyone inside the house was able to get out ok. the fire did about $40,000 in damage. sheree: one local ensemble can now call themselves grammy award winners. a small ensemble with ties to the university of cincinnati best chamber music tonight. the quartet did a two-year residency at uc. resilience. four days after people restaurant thursday night. they say the 30-year-old was from ginny but it is too early to discuss motivations for the attack. sheree: the new information comes the same day after the restaurant opened charged with killing three people and injuring nine more outside the clinic in colorado springs. a spokesperson for the clinic says they had dozens of appointment scheduled for today along with walk-ins. the clinic is still repairing damage from the shooting. mike: turning now to far on the road to the republican convention. now donald trump is demanding an apology from ted cruz, calling him a liar during his campaign event in south carolina. he said that some of cruz' s ads are misleading and he said if take cruise does not apologize, he' s going to soupy he said the ted cruz is born in pants on fire and not respond. sheree: ohio governor john kasich will head to south carolina tomorrow. he was in michigan today, where he promised to keep his cool. rex i am not going to let people -- an eight-week-old puppy in critical condition. local police found gigi after stopping danny gonzalez for driving erratically and running several people off the road. metro animal service said that her tail and back legs glued together when she was brought in. the dog is eating on its own, which is a good sign. gonzales is facing several charges. rally around the general store tonight after a weekend fire destroyed the landmark. inspectors were out there to see what they could salvage from the 185-year-old building. the historical society owns the store and they will need at least $150,000 across southern central ohio. cold air beginning to build in now. as a result, we are seeing some of that change over to snow. it is not all snow. the radar has transitioned a little bit too quickly. i think a lot of wet snow is beginning to mix and. there is some sleep mixing in with the rain. this is going to be east of highway 68. down towards maysville, that is where the real accumulating snow will take place overnight tonight. probably down into some of our that is where you will find the winter weather advisory. there is no advisory in effect anywhere for the greater cincinnati metro area aside from the dense fog advisory that is currently in place. here is what we are expecting to happen. snow beginning to mix in with the rain. right now, the bulk of the smell should accumulate to the east of highway 68. for those of you that are farther east, we are talking to more inches of snow. snow covered roads, the possibility or likelihood of another snow day for those of you far east. in the metro area, not so much. and work tomorrow. maybe a dusting to a quarter inch in a few locations. the high side of things. i would not be surprised if you looked out the door tomorrow morning and there is nothing new on the ground aside from the melting snow that is already there. we look at the heaviest accumulation. accumulating snow will be begins to pull away. degrees. we have a north wind at 5. temperatures, most of us still above freezing, even in the areas we showed it is snowing. while to get the surface temperatures back below freezing air pouring in. this is all dynamics taking place in the atmosphere. will take a while to see these temperatures drop below freezing , and even out east, it will be a wild before the snow begins to accumulate. on futurecast, it is doing a really good job. i attention to our extreme southeastern communities. that is where the snow will linger for the longest. notice, not much showing up in greater cincinnati. you have to head east to into than the low to mid 30' s by tomorrow afternoon. here is a look at your seven-day forecast. the first half of the week, it is all about winter. the second half of the week, it is all about spring. temperatures climbing close to 60. the next opportunity for significant weather will probably be some rain on sunday. at least the next 7-10 days look much milder than what we justice. here.
