Deputies say the blaze started just after five last quiet lane off of decker boulevard. Putting out thor too, firefighters found a female victim inside the home unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are questioning witnesses to determine what may have happened. Theres no word yet on the cause of that fire. Deputies ask, if you have any information, to call crime stopers. That number to call again, 1 888crimesc; a holly hill man accused of shooting his stepmother remains behind bars. The 27yearold was charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and grand larceny. These charges stem from yesterdays earlymorning shooting, where weeks was accused of shooting his 50yearold stepmother six times, then leaving the scene in her car. Now, the victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital, and her condition is unknown at this time; but advocate spoke out, saying the victim feared for her life. Both the Victim Advocate and investigator were in court, asking that bandaid be denied. When judge samuel daly asked weeks if he should be denied bond, he agreed. Sheriff lee roy reven agreed with the decision. Pleased the close contact with the victim and family, and investigated, you know, told the judge what was going on. Very much satisfied it should granted no bond. Im not sure what prompted this incident; but just from the Court Appearance and his criminal history, hes been in some trouble since apparently as a juvenile. Sheriffs deputies are continuing to investigate the shooting as they believe the gun used was stolen the night before the incident. But for now, weeks will remain behind bars. Investigators say he made statements of ending his life, then fired a gun outside of his home where his four children were. They say the gun that was fired was not his Sheriffs Office weapon. Campbell had been with the Department Since 1998. Police are investigating after someone fired started a fire at michael sleighers former home in hanrahan. Wcsc in charleston says someone set fire to the vacant home last night. They say the fire did appear to be small and caused minor damage. There has been opposition all week since sleigher was released on bond, saying sleigher is danger to the community and should have had his bond revoked. Protesters say they want to meet with Clifton Newman about why he granted the bond after he denied bill back in september. Newman said hes trouble sleigher would have to remain in jail until fall, a the trial of dylan roof in the Charleston Church shooting. On national security, i think above all others, i drove the debate, offered alternatives leading obamas approach to destroying isil, it does require more presence in iraq as opposed to syria. I think, after paris, what i said made more sense. In that regard, im very proud of the effort in my team to talk about how to defend this nation other than just criticizing obama, giving a concrete alternative, and now im proud to say most people in my party are coming my way, and isolationism is in our rearview mirror. In that regard, were very i difference. Have you made a decision on who youre going to be supporting . No its important South Carolina look long and hard who to support. Hopefully can give some than senator cruz and mr. Trump. I think Hillary Clinton would clean their clock.
