Few weeks after the october flood our Sonia Gutierrez was in Clarendon County checking out the bad Road Conditions that people worried about emergency vehicles getting through. They came out to fix things but now they created another problem. Every since the flood it went down hill. A couple weeks ago couple weeks ago residents had to park out of the block. Never thought i would have lake front property. Reporter the county fixed the road. The roads are now dry but the problem is, the yards. Fixed one problem. Reporter this is what his yard looks like right now. They come out here and added better to gret in get in and out but there is no drainage. I get tired walkininthrough all the water and mud. Pulling my leg up out of the mud and stuff. Reporter his biggest fear is slipping out of his prosthetic leg and falling. With all the rain and no drainage, just the water is piling up. Reporter we asked the county administrator what they can do about it. The county is looking into a program to deal with the drainage and the ditches. Reporter he says they are hoping to roll it out mid summer. We are working as fast as we can based on the amount of staff we ever, the contractors. And also funding available to work on the roads. I hope he can cooperate to get this behind us because i do believe keeping Guantanamo Bay open provides a propaganda argument for isis and the other terrorist groups.
