>> jerrika: larry, there's a lot of live music, food and of course craft beer. people say that's all they need to ring in the new year, which is now less than an hour. outside oscar blue's brewery, there was a line of not only people but new year's resolutions all with their sights set on 2016. >> my resolution is to get healthy. >> be more patient and compassionate. >> to try to understand other people's positions better than i always have. >> jerrika: tonight for some is a reset button. >> i'm all about starting over new year, new beginning. >> jerrika: many are dancing in to the new year leaving the bad memories of 2015 in the past. >> my low was probably having family members that were sick. >> jerrika: reflecting 2015 surrounded by friends, family, music and of course beer. >> this is a really good year. i'm hoping next year supercedes this year. >> jerrika: oscar blue's has a trolley to shuttle people to and from local hotels, which a lot of them are providing discounts for people attending tonight's event. jerrika insco, news 13. >> tammy: a lot of people plan to bring in the new year with an adult beverage and good company. but not everyone. some people are getting ready for the new year with a work first, we want to check in with news 13's aaron adelson who is with folks bringing in the new year at the thirsty monk at biltmore park. aaron. >> aaron: this place is packed. they're going to drop a keg. people are continuing to trickle in to make it for the stroke of midnight. many new year's celebrations involve live music. most probably have a different kind of music. about two dozen people here ended the year and started a new one with haut yoga. people could focus on what they want to strive for. >> make 2016 your year. whatever that means to you. >> aaron: 90 minutes of sweat. >> i feel great. >> feel real upbeat and content. >> i wanted to do something for my soul. maybe relax. a little bit of me time. >> aaron: a different kind of exercise and a different way to spend new year's. >> it's a great way to start over and for some of us, continuing with our path. the new year doesn't necessarily mean start over. >> aaron: towards the future. >> 2016, that feels good to me. >> aaron: the class ended at 7:00 p.m., meaning still plenty of time. >> detox before retox. >> aaron: sweating it out before a big night on the couch. >> mostly it's pretty much fools on new year's eve. this is pretty much it for the day. >> aaron: two other people from that class were just here. christina who you saw in our story about 30 seconds ago. they're troopers making it this long. and i had quite a sweat. we weren't the ones doing yoga. a great new year underway here. live in asheville, aaron adelson, news 13. >> larry: the clemson tigers are headed to a national championship game. question is, who will they be playing? >> karen: right. much more like january. clouds hanging on a little longer. not too much longer. today made it up to 57 degrees. you can kiss that warmth for a little while. we're going to be colder and dryer. sunshine and how c now your news 13 skywatch >> karen: give you another quick look at that river flood warning along the french broad at blantyre. meanwhile, the rain is long gone. the clouds remain. and we are cooling down with some chillier air moving in at this hour. in asheville, 44 degrees. feeling more like 37. we have quite a wind right now. north-northwest at 16 miles per hour. quite brisk. bundle up if you are about to go out. meanwhile in greenville, you're cooling off, too. but much milder than the mountains. 54 degrees. light winds out of the north. we do have that cooler air moving in. we can see how cold we're talking about here. chicago down to 23. 26 in kansas city. five in denver. all of this chilly air is moving in here. while we're not going to see temperatures as low as five, it is going to go well below freezing in the coming days. back to winter for us. east as far as all the rain the last couple of days. we have that dryer air with brisk winds moving in. we break it down hour by hour. we are going to see the clouds hanging on as we go through the overnight in to the early morning. with even a few more clouds by the time we approach midday. but then later on in the afternoon on to the early evening, we can see clearing has begun in the western and northern counties clearing overnight dropping in to the 20s. we're dropping down to 37 tonight. 35 in bryson city. one degree above freezing in franklin. 34 in newland. milder in the upstate. tomorrow we are feeling the chillier changes. we'll be breezy. mainly cloudy. and highs in the upper 40s in asheville. our morning low was warmer than that. we take a look at the week ahead and it is going to feel a lot we have that sunshine that is going to be around through the weekend on in to the middle of next week. it's going to look really beautiful out there. but don't be fooled, we're dropping in to the lower 20s monday and tuesday. and then we do have a chance of rain that could include a bit of icing on thursday morning. here's a quick look at your extended forecast in the upstate. happy new year. >> larry: asheville's oldest brewery is ringing in the new year with a new release. party for who's the rebel now?
