>> yes. >>reporter: mire chief dustin bradley says 48 firefighters from 8 stations responded to the call. they are working to put out hot spots and secure the scene. >> there is lots of unknowns with digging up a property like this. >> >>reporter: before calling ate day and turning it over to the sheriff offense office to investigate. >> i just praise the lord we are safe from home. >>evan: the fire chief says the cause of the fire appears to be accidental but they are still investigating. authorities will resume the search for a georgia man this morning. they say he fell from a waterfall in macon county. first responders were dispatched to dry falls near highlands around noon yesterday. officials say a man fell from the falls into the cull low sage river. swift water ( ) crews searched the area but that effort was a section of highlands road near turtle pond road remains closed to give emergency workers better access to the scene. we have an update this morning on an asheville man behind bars. this is all related to that stolen car in biltmore park. timothy williams is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a firearm by a felon. police say they found the car around 11:30 friday night near heathbrook circle and columbine road and they discovered the gun after searching the vehicle. the car has already been returned to the owner. williams is in the buncombe counun jail under a 40,000 bond. 7 gop presidential candidates attended a poverty summit in south carolina. the kemp forum on expanding opportunity was moderated by house speaker paul ryan and south carolina senator tim scott. candidates speaking included mike huckabee, ben carson, and chris chris tee. chris tee says republican more attention to minority groups. >> we need to be going into african-american churches. we need to be going into the hispanic communities and the barrios to make sure that we do, and jeb and paul are right on this -- we go there first to listen. don't go there first with a ten point plan, because thehe don't want the hear it. >> >>evan: gop front runners donald trump and ted cruz did not attend the summit. buncombe county residents got a chance to enroll for health insurance as the deadline to enroll for obama-care approaches. the ywca hosted certified navigators of the affordable care act yesterday to give assistance to those without insurance. to be eligible for coverage that begins february 1st, you have to enroll by january 15th. 91% of north carolina enrollees ( ) receive subsidies which help lower costs. >> you know, a lot of small employers who cannot afford to offer health insurance and therefore we can help them sign they may only have to pay 15 or $300 month for very very good coverage. >>evan: again the deadline to have coverage begin february 1st is this friday. the final date for 2015 open enrollment is the last day of the month, january 31st. details on the arrest of the so called affluenza mom. an arrest affidavit states tanya coach withdrew $30,000 from her bank account and told her husband he wouldn't see her or their son again. then, the pair fled to mexico. ethan couch is still there. last week a judge granted a temporary stay halting deportation proceedings. ethan couch was on probation for killing four people in a 2013 drunken driving accident when he was 16 years old. mexican authorities say "el chapo" will likely be extradited to the united states. fugitive joaquin guzman was recaptured this week after the escape that kept him on the run since july. including murder, drug trafficking, and money laundering. the mexican government says it will now begin the extradition process. i never know which onion to pick, adam. tell me which onion i want. i got red and white and yellow? >> a lot of times if you are eating a raw onion, yellow is too sharp. so, like in a salad we tend to put the red onions. >>evan: and white or yellow is a matter of taste? >> it's taste. the onions are getting translucent and the fancy bacon, as you called it, is getting nice and crispy. you see some of those juices so rodrigo sliced the pear. we are go ahead and add a half a pear to the pan. >>evan: you put it right in there with it? >> right in there. one of the most important parts of this dish is we will take a little bit of that delicious poaching liquid and it will go into the hot pan. that's going to reduce down to a syrup and get nice and sticky. >> >>evan: okay. >> then we will let it reduce for 30 seconds, see how it's all coming together? >> we have new information on another rescue interrupted. these were so called special forces who were operating not far away while these americans were under attack on foreign soil. and we now know that they were ready, available, and bottoms up as they say in the military to go into benghazi, not long into that night and yet, were not use. we know that even though the military requested the state department to prepareo ask for permission to enter libya's air space the permission was never so, that raises a lot of questions about who was calling the shots and what was decided fairly early on on that night. >>jay: it's been three years and there have been many investigations. what new evidence, if any, is there at this stage? responding to numerous 911 calls about a large street fight involving guns, bat, and knives. >> backup units arrived. the office engaged in a gun fight during which police officers stuart was struck in the right angle. he returned gun fire, striking the male suspect four times. >>evan: officer stewart is in stable condition this morning. the suspect is 19 year-old christopher rice who is listed in serious condition. a nebraska pub goes up in flames. yesterday an explosion at m.'s pub in omaha, shortly afterwards flames burst through the front manager of the pub says everyone inside was able to get out safely and no major injuries were reported. the cause of that fire is under investigation. the u.s.a. national psychloe cross championships continue today for the final day of races. huge crowds have been gathering at the biltmore estate all week to watch. cyclists of all ages are in asheville to race around the estate. several thousand people are visiting to watch some of the best it's probably the pick of the weekend. if you are thinking about heading outdoors. so, there you go. clearing already by about lunchtime. later on this afternoon, looking at plenty of sun. i do think this trend is going to continue as we make our way into the overnight hours. take a look at this. we will go 6 p.m. tonight to 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. and all really looking at some of those clear skies. and that's going to be dropping off our temperatures dramatically. our overnight lows into the upper teens an low 20s. but the wind chill value is actually going to be down into single digits.
