3 happening today, suspects in two high-profile murder cases in asheville are scheduled to appear in court. a probable cause hearing is scheduled this morning for pierre griffin, the second. the hearing was continued earlier this month. griffin is accused of killing uhon johnson, alexandra king and tatianna diz. the buncombe county district attorney's also requested a rule-24 hearing to determine whether the state will seek the death penalty. 3 robin richardson, the woman accused of killing a w-l-o-s employee, is also scheduled to be in court this morning. richardson is charged with first-degree murder for tim fry's death. back in december, warrants state that richardson shot fry, claiming fry had assaulted her. she remains in 3 3 3 an asheville man remains in critical condition after a weekend car crash. troopers say on saturday afternoon, christopher love was driving over 100 miles an hour on charlotte highway when he lost control and slammed into a concrete wall. love was thrown charged with d-w-i and several other traffic violations. 3 3 a hiker was airlifted to a charlotte hospital after falling at crowders mountain state park. it happened yesterday afternoon near the boulders overlook on the cleveland county side of the park. park officials say the 23-year-old victim fell 25-to-30 feet, and was seriously hurt. he is being treated at the carolinas medical center. the victim's 3 3 3 mcdowell county d-s-s is seeing a growing number of children coming into foster care.... that means the need for foster families is growing too. news 13's lauren brigman is live from the county d-s-s office in marion. lauren, a special meeting today aims to garner more foster families? currently 26 families foster children here in mcdowell, but the number of children in need of foster homes, has more than doubled since last year.the info meeting is tonight at 6, at mcdowell county d-s-s. 3 3 this time tomorrow, voters and caucus-goers will make their choices for democratic and republican presidential nominees in more than a dozen states. it's known as super tuesday, the single-day contests represent a key juncture in the primary race. reid binion reports... 595 delegates are up for grabs for g-o-p, 865 for the democrats. 3 3 (sen. marco rubio/(r) presidential candidate) "donald is not gonna make america great he's gonna make america orange."republican presidential candidates -- turning up the insults ... less than 24 hours ahead of the biggest single day in the primary race.and....donald trump -- taking fire sunday for deflecting questions about whether......he would disavow support from former kkk leader correspondent) "would you just say unequivocally you condemn them and you don't want their support?"(trump) "i mean don't know what group you're talking about."(jake tapper/ cnn chief washington correspondent) "okay. i mean i'm just talking about david duke and the ku klux klan here, but..."(donald trump/ (r) presidential candidate) "i don't know, honestly i don't know david duke."trump pointed out on twitter that he disavowed duke on friday.cnn (donald trump/ (r) presidential candidate) "david duke endorsed me? all right. i disavow, ok?"rivals marco rubio and ted cruz pounced, trying to slow trumps momentum going into super tuesday.
