from outside the area. the solar panels track the sun across the sky producing power. the city also wants to reduce the need for cars. overland is one of the most bike friendly cities in northeast ohio. you can see bikes everywhere and often it is harder to find a parking space for your bike than it is for your car. >> there is 17 cities in the u.s. becoming carbon neutral. we are one of those cities. the colleges busy developing a 13 acre green arts district in the center of town including highly efficient apartments for students as well as a brand-new hotel, restaurant and conference space including a wetlands surrounding the project. part of the goals is to change people's behaviors. one way to do that is to give them the information about what they are using right now in the entire community with screens like this so you can see your impact in oberlin anywhere in town. the project calls for a big reduction in 2007 emissions by 2030 and 100% reduction by 2050. though
