Brooklyn Police say it happened wrong way. a 48yearold man was driving east in the westbound lanes of i 480 killing a 20yearold woman. the other driver is en the hospital no word on his condition the part of the highway was shut down. so far we have no information on charges against the driver. later this morning Metro Health Medical Center opens a new Emergency Department in university heights. starting at 8 00 a. Between the turnpike and 490 on 71 its 14 minutes headed north and 15 minutes headed south. so those are normal drive tiles. when crew hit the roads tune in to wtan, 1100 total traffic theyll have updates for you every 10 minutes. also on the road while odot has been on snow duty construction season is just around the corner. this morning Tiffany Tarpley<\/a> joins us lye with a run odots six biggest projects for this year, hi tiffany. to money and out of geauga and cuyahoga counties the interbelt bridge project. for years weve been dodging orange barrels and squeezing through tight lanes to make way for a nearly 273 million commute into or out of bridge. the biggest change thats going to happen this year is the entire bridge both directions will be open in the fall. so all of the construction that youve seen downtown over the past 56 years is going to start wrapping up a little bit on those bridge projects. reporter but theres always a but, the existing ramp closures and lane restrictions in the downtown area will remain. next, get ready for the west shoreway to shut down. thats just a way for us to help keep the project on track and do the work as safely as possible.
