from the cleveland kids in need resource center. you have been explaining what's happening there all m in, let them know what's happening there and then across northeast ohio. >> reporter: there are so many projects going on, i think 65 like you mngs d. there is still an opportunity for people to register and get involved. we are going to be involved with five projects, one of them is the cleveland kids in need resource center. i showed you how a mess these books look and drg the breaks this is what it looks like when they come in. this is where heather of bvu is here to join us to tells more about how you get people to volunteer and then place them. how did you get involved with this make a difference day? >> so bvu, business volunteers unlimited is a non profit that helps connect businesses in the community with all the my job is to work with visitors to get up this. all the school supplies need to be put away so when the teachers come here they have a great shopping experience. that's how bvu's role. with work with the business members. in this case wkyc had five team captains who brought these projects to the forefront, which is fantastic. it is a great way that wkyc is supporting their employees by and we set up the projects around there. >> reporter: there are university students involved to. >> the university of akron is going to be four different projects and a thousand students. >> we have five projects like we mentioned, this cleveland kids in need resource center. we have field storm farm. we are helping down at the men's shelter with a cook out. northeast ohio tomorrow night into early monday. so again tomorrow, although during the day i think it looks good, tomorrow evening i think we may see a few miss showers. tomorrow looking like the best day to get out and about as opposed to today just because of those lake effect showers, especially right along 77 and east of 77 through lunch time and points after lunch time. not a terrible day of course. i think we'll see a few breaks in those clouds. but when it starts range in -- raining in towards northeast ohio you can start to expect an day. tomorrow that cold front comes through providing us with some showers. low 40 to 50-degree reading with over nights tonight falling into the 40s. your window nation seven-day forecast. we've already talked about the weekend temps tomorrow for him until his death in 2003. the mistakes i made in trying to help him. back then it wasn't possible for me to understand the world he lived in. now there is a program for caregivers that actually simulates what it's like to live with dementia. i've come to ard en. this is the original scientifically method of helping caregivers better understand the world of someone with dementia. >> we really want you yourself in the setting. think about your feelings andz what you are going through. >> first, there are shoe inserts that simulate neuropathy. next gloves that also simulate neuropathy and loss of touch. glasses that blur my eyesight and create tunnel vision. and finally a head set emits what sounds like a static radio perform. >> you are going to put the belt through the belt loop on morning is as well as chad. what was it like and why did you collect school supplies. >> i wanted to help our friends down in cleveland so they can get school supplies and make sure they learn. >> reporter: what's it like for you when you are back to school shopping and you get that cool mechanic a.m. pencil and all that -- mechanical pencil and all that stuff. >> it's kind of fun. you get that new stuff and it makes you feel like you have more to do and find out more. >> reporter: you wanted to give other kids right? >> yeah. >> reporter: thank you so much for doing that. we have the principal here. this is chad. chad, how does it make you feel to see your kids doing this? >> it's awesome. within of the things we talk about is being noble. i think this is a great demonstration how on akron's west side residents had to travel miles away from their home to enjoy fresh foods and vegetables but that all changed. >> a small corner type market was a real need for this neighborhood. >> reporter: it isn't just your every day corner market it is an innovative farm program. it is a work training service for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. >> have you ever had a fruit roll up? it's like that. >> reporter: the program hired 12 employees helping them develop and grow the technical and social schools needed for -- social skills needed for the employment. >>
