On the economy he says he will work to renegotiate trade deals to create new jobs and cut taxes on both businesses and the middle class which he says will boost the economy. Very big rally with running mate mike pence, and that is just one hour away. Several months ago he made waves there both for his incredible support and surprising opposition. A scene outside the center perhaps foreshadowing the troubles he would face, even from within his own party. I suspect theres probably a great deal of anticipation. Reporter yes, hillary, there is. But last time trump visited this building, Ohio Governor john kasich was still in the running, and kasich supporters protested trump. But things were a little bit different here today as people lined up hours early excited to see donal doinl person. People we spoke to here excited to see and hear donald trump. Almost everyone we talked to felt strongly about the economy, immigration, and their top issues in this election. Now, in two polls trump is essential tied with clinton among likely voters in ohio. According to experts trump needs ohio to win this race so we asked people here what trump needs to do to gain support and votes. Looks like the excitement is building. I dont know anything more that he could do really. Hes got everything going for him. He doesnt have all the corruption that she has. The its about time somebody from business got into politics. Reporter more than 1500 people participated in 65 make a difference day projects throughout northeast ohio. Wkycs Russ Mitchell helped at the lutheran metropolitan ministries mens shelter. They painted the sh great clips gave the men free haircuts. And our sarah shookman helped at the Ronald Mcdonald house. People are looking to put purpose in their lives. Everybody is trying to do that. By volunteering and giving back you have a great opportunity to have some real purpose in your life. Reporter this years make a difference day equates to more than 90,000 worth of time invested in the community. We have just a few paid staff, but with that, you know, you need a huge volunteer effort. For the organizations its huge. First theyve got basically free labor coming in. But more importantly it introduces people to the nonprofit sector, and there are so many needs. Many of us live in our little bubbles that you just dont understand the need. Reporter and in just one day, thousands learne making a difference reporter really means. Its kind of sad that some other kids dont get to do that, because they dont have enough money. We wanted to help our friends down in cleveland so they can get school supplies, and make sure they learn. We certainly had a great time today. More than 100 Cleveland State university and more than 1,000 yoorlt of akron students made a board as a national partner. I can tell you they did provide lunch. Here is another make a difference project, and in this one we teamed up with the clean and green trailer. They brought tools to spruce up hope lodge. Clevelands hospitals are, as you know, among the best in the nation. And the lodge is home away from home for outoftown Cancer Patients and families thanks to the ic so our team cleaned up around the yard and planted bulbs for next spring. The indians along with the rest of us waited to find out who they will play host to when the world series starts on tuesday. In the midst of the great news, alumni are definitely picking up the slack on Community Involvement so that the indense championship. Kenny lofton held an autograph signing at dicks sporting goods. He played for the tribes and has been one of the most popular players over the last 25 years. We started with the showers especially 77 east. Those are clearing out. As the winds switched direction, were actually seeing a little bit of clearing west of sandusky. Im hoping some of this moves in overhead. Winds are still strong, not as bad as they were earlier. Gentle 10 to 15. They were at 15, 20, 25 earlier. These northwest winds turn west and southwest by sunday morning. That cuts off any lake effect, all goes out over the lake, and it starts to bring milder air in here tomorrow in a hurry. So tonight with those west and southwest winds, temperatures actually not falling off all that quickly. I think we will see more clouds than clear skies, and temperatures will kind of settle down into the low to mid 40s by the evening and kind of stay there during the overnight as we system moving in. Take a look at the rain showers from earlier today. Theyre now over the alley genes of central and western pennsylvania. Actually, part of a larger storm system that is really spinning up and intensifying over new england. Look at this. Theres accumulating snow right now in western massachusetts and the adirondacks of central and upstate new york. They could get over four inches of snow tonight. Season as the storm system spins away from us. We are not talking about any type of snow here. Were talking about another storm system arriving tomorrow night and interest monday morning. That will bring us scattered showers but out ahead of it weve got a nice stretch of clear skies. Sunday i think very sunny. Those nice westsouthwest winds, and temperatures a good 15 to maybe even 20 degrees warmer than what we saw today. It is going take a look at your future view. 40s this evening, stay there overnight, more clouds than clear skies, maybe a sprinkle, a shower early. Not a big deal.
