They had that roped off. They was searching grew the garbage and everything. She says police searched every dumpster, every hallway. They even knocked on everyones door. They didnt find anything. News 6 found out richardson has been arrested three other times, twice for Domestic Violence and once for assaulting police officers. Tonight her childs father is secluded inside his apartment. Shes being booked right now in the Orange County jail. Just a few minutes ago we actually saw some Orlando Police detectives combing this neighborhood. They say this is very important. The Orange County Sheriffs Office says someone shot and killed 36yearold Maria Sanchez and 16yearold destiny. A man who lived with them found their bodies yesterday inside the home on Santa Barbara road. Their house. He fell right there and he was crying. I started hollering. I said what is wrong with you . He said, me girlfriend, me girlfriend, he said, shes on the bathroom floor and i think shes dead. Deputies have not released any suspect description or motive. If you know anything, call the crime line. Tonight, four black men known as the groveland four will finally get an apology. Were accused of raping and kidnapping a 17yearold white woman. No hard evidence linked them to that crime. Tonight grovelands mayor will read a special proclamation Shaun Chaiyabhat joins us live in lake county where that will take place less than an hour now. The mayor is also going to be asking the governor to exonerate these men, known as the groveland four. When that meeting happens in about an hour, were also told that some family members of those groveland four are also going to be here to hear it. Now, this proclamation marks a turning point in history. It will signal an apology that some say is long overdue. In 1949, four black men were accused of raping a 17yearold white housewife. Despite any hard evidence, they were convicted in court and by white society. One was hunted and killed by a posse. Three others were tried and convicted. Were overturned, the then lake county sheriff claimed they tried to escape, shot them both, killing one. Now grovelands current mayor thinks those dark days in his towns history need to be wiped clean. The city of groveland, we cannot right what happened. But we certainly can acknowledge the truth and apologize for what happened during that particular period of time. We wanted to send a message to the public that the groveland of 2016 is not the groveland of 1949. But not everybody is happy about this. The mayor says hes already gotten a couple of angry calls.
