driver. it happened near north lakeland south of rock lake elementary. that's where we find johnny fernandez. police are telling you this car was reported stolen, johnny. >> yeah, that's right. that's why it is making it more difficult for police to find that driver. we did get word the car will be sent to be processed by the forensic unit to hopefully find some evidence to trace that driver. the scene cleared within the last two to three hours. i want to show you what it looked like moments after the crash. take a look at the video. police say they got here -- when they got here, they found a silver mitsubishi eclipse crashed into the living room area of the home. we also did get word that code enforcement responded to the scene and boarded up the damage. we are back out live. we know there were two people inside of the home at the time of the crash. we did get word they are expected to be ok. i'm going to be reaching back update. once i get new information, i'll pass it along to is your check on traffic. back over to you. >> overnight, at least one person has been hospitalized after a shooting in north orange county. deputies say the shooting happened on kappa court after 11:00 last night. police say the victim is not cooperating. if we learn something new, we'll let you know here. >> florida senator marco rubio will make another appearance to week's primary. today's stop comes after new poll numbers have him trailing domed trump by eight points. this visit comes a few hours after a rally in seminole county. what more are you learning? >> rubio met with supporters. it is going to be a visit onsmaller scale. he will be meeting with employees and customers here in kissimmee. rubio presidential campaigns, all eyes remain locked on florida. >> this is at clickorlando.com. >> daytona beach police asking for your help finding a car jacker who stole a mother's car with her 12-year-old daughter inside. she parked and left her 12-year-old sleeping while she ran in to pick up another child. someone took off with the car. someone drove a few streets away before realizing there was a child in the car. you don't leave your child unattended any place but a 12-year-old is not like a 2-year-old but it is still a child. >> police believe the suspect got picked up by a friend after abandoning the car. he described as a male with a if you know anything, call police in daytona beach. >> we are getting a look at how close some bullets came to hitting a 6-month-old baby swing. you can see a bullet hole inches from the screen. an orange county mother says more than 20 shots were fired into her moss park ridge home. five people were home at the time. fortunately, no one was injured. the family gave deputies a plate number and a description of the two men who may have gotten into a fight with their son earlier this night. detectives will only say mo one has been arrested as of now. >> in just hours, rick scott will join us with buddy dyer for orlando. he'll have another update at the bottom of the hour. overnight, investigators in california are looking to what caused a commuter train to derail last night, plunge into a creek. >> more than a dozen people were injured. officials say the a miracle at this point that no one was killed. the derailment left part of the car under water. the accident happened after the train reportedly hit a tree about 50 miles outside san francisco. 214 people were on the train at the time. with serious injuries. >> people were crying for help. >> the train was heading to stockton from san jose. >> now to a crime tracker alert. brevard county deputies say a credit card skimmer was found at a gas station. according to our news partners, the skimmer was pulled from a pump at the shell station in port st. john's. the device was found after a routine inspection. deputies are saying this case appears to be isolate and not part of a larger string like the one that happened last year in brevard county. if you know something about this skimmer case, call the crime line. >> we are working to figure out what may have caused a car to end up in a palm bay canal. wufr our viewers sent us these pictures of the car completely vertical in jupiter boulevard. we reached out to police to see what they could tell us about this crash. we'll keep you posted. there is a possible big break in a crime spree. police looking closely at four guys to see if they are connect to several robberies. longwood police arrested three kids behind a sprint store. they were adjusting their hoodies to try to hide their faces. last month, these two guys were caught on camera ransacking a store across from the altamonte mall. you can see their faces clearly. police say they smashed shelves phones. >> to south florida where incredible video shows the moment this garbage truck plunged off of florida interstate. you can see the driver driving a miami truck. control. the truck dropped off i-95 and landed in jose martin park. one was hurt or killed. >> in the video you see him hitting the left guard rail twice. and then overreacting and going off i-95. it is a miracle he survived. >> smith wasn't wearing his seat belt. he was hospitalized two weeks and ticketed for careless driving. >> the next time you see a game it could be on social media. facebook executive tells variety magazine the giant is bidding i just heard about that. we'll be tweeting out your forecast as well. the good news, rain holds off and guess what, it will hold off for the next several days. here's the way it looks as we continue to pinpoint the forecast for you with a live view outside in high definition over downtown orlando a mechanics of clouds and sun. the moisture streaming in with winds out of the east off the ocean waters, bringing onshore a few clouds. the moisture will not fall in the form of rain. 63 from that vantage point. it is 50 in ocala. 70 in melbourne. a warmer start there in brevard county. we are seeing clouds act as a blanket. last night, the temperature didn't cool down because we didn't see the warmth escape into the atmosphere. let's check on the roads and head over to amy in the napleton traffic center with some real >> it looks like a semi trailer was going too fast. what we have going on right now, over on the turnpike, on the southbound side on obt, the on and off ramps are where it is closed. it will be the clean-up effort. it is the on and off ramp on the southbound side of the turnpike by obt that are closed because of that mess. that is the biggest thing we are dealing with. the rest of us watching a wake-up under way. i like this live shot. you can see eastbound and westbound westbound. your drive times are ok for the time being. >> we are following some praekdz news overnight in orlando where a driver crashed into this home, leaving behind plenty of damage and officers say the person responsible is on the run. the crash happened on north that's where we find johnny fernandez. tell us about the people in the home when this happened. >> we got word that two people were inside of the house while the crash happened. we also did get word they are expected to be ok so that is a good thing. the scene cleared within the last couple of hours. the home where the car crashed is boarded up. i want to show you what it looked like moments after police arrived. police say the driver ran into the living room area of the house here on lakeland avenue. the driver took off before they got here, despite the efforts to find the driver after an area search, they had no luck in finding that driver. code enforcement did respond respond. it is going to be taken into the forensic unit at the police department so police can search the car and see if they can find evidence inside. we'll bring you information as soon as we get any new updates and pass it along to you. >> right now police are trying to figure out who pulled the trigger. this is video from the scene at the complex. police tell news 6 the victim was taken to orlando regional where he later died. it is unclear who shot him or what led to the crime. anyone with information is asked to call orlando police or the crime line number, 1-800-423-tips. >> florida is the focus of election 2016. one week from today, voters will head to the polls to cast their ballot in the primary. matchup could make or break his campaign. mark lehman joins us live. just hours after a rally last night in sanford, rubio is heading to osceola county. what more can you tell us?
