here's what people are talking about today. wjz has been following breaking news all morning long. all lanes of the baltimore/washington parkway are back open following a couple of accidents, including a fatality just before dawn today. ron matz is live in the news room with this. >> reporter: all northbound and southbound lanes of 295 at 175 were shut down. the closures led to huge back ups along the bw parkway as you can see. according to park police an adult male was struck around 5:00 a.m. by a vehicle traveling south on 295. investigators say the man was hit following another accident on the same highway. >> we're still trying to determine exactly what happened. there seems to have been an accident northbound and then the subject was struck southbound issue just south of 175. >> now all lanes of the bw parkway were back open by 10:00 this morning. back to you. >> thank you. we will continue to follow the investigation and bring you the latest today at 4:00, 5:00 and to discuss the budget crisis and deadlines. republican members may follow later in the week. post office managers in pikesville and waiverly are facing federal bribery charges. richard wright, kimberly par nel and shane anderson made deals with a landscaping company, charging the government for work that wasn't completed. a hearing is set for later this month. if convicted they face a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison. new developments in the case of the motorcycle roadway incident. police have arrested two more people, including one of their own officers. >> police say among this group of bikers involved in a violent attack on an suv driver is an undercover new york city detective. 32-year-old boy braz is ok surrendered tuesday. >> we have a police officer on modified assignment and the investigation is going forward. >> his attorney said his client only witnessed other bikers attacking the vehicle. investigators say they they've discovered new video of the off-duty detective punching an already damaged back window. sources say other five new york city officers may have been ride being the pack of motorcyclists. >> in the police department with their rules, they should have come together right away. there's questions about a deep undercover and if you should have exposed yourself. >> the incident happened on september 29th. police say it began with wreckless driving for motorcyclists and escalated whether end the driver of this suv ran over one of the bikers. a chase unsued, the bikers caught up with the driver, pulled him out and beat him the area. frankly it's just going to be a foul period. we've been discussing gray skies through sunday with showers getting out of here late saturday into sunday. i still think we may have to mention not be concerned but mention maybe a shower around on sunday. then maybe even again monday. it's just going to take this low a wrong time to get out of the way. i think it's in the short run we see bottom line. the pressure right now is 30.33 up from 30.29, which it was this time yesterday. i'll explain in a second how that's going to play into our lives. remember i mentioned we got the sea and the bay breeze? it acts like an air-condition in the summer. in the winter it can act like a heater. this is what you would call slack tide in between the seasons. we're still getting that cooler effect from the bay and from the ocean. 62% humidity. 59 degrees. 62 in dc, 63 easton. let me show just show you something. pax river at 61 degrees. all right. yep. 60 annapolis, 61 rock hall. now we move inland. down to 57, 59, 59 et cetera and the beat goes on. a slight bay breeze, a light sea breeze. that's going to intensify as we move over the next let's say 24 hours as this fairly well organized low starts to make real end roads into the mid atlantic. here's that pressure of 30.33. this low cannot get out of its own way. it's trapped like a stream. it's going to take it a few days
