Right now sitting at about 40 degrees. A little bit milder than yesterday, but this is what youre dealing with. Its been a gorgeous weekend. Yesterday hardly a cloud found anywhere. Today starting off much like yesterday ended. Our winds have shifted. Thats the key to all of this. Its a 40 degrees, yesterday about this time we were 10 degrees colder. 45 ocean city, 44 upton. 34 in oakland. The dewpoint is at 31. Air is pretty dry for today. Today going up to around 56 to about 59 degrees. Then we start to warm up that will take us into the 70s by the end of the week. Thanks, tim. Lets take a look at the stories were keeping an ion. A violent night in central maryland. Anne Arundel County Police are investigating what appears to be a murder suicide. Just after 1 30 this morning, Police Rushed to the 1900 block of armistead street and found two men and one woman dead. Detectives believe the suspect is one of the deceased. Police say the male victims are 27 and 37 years old, and the womans 26. We will have more news on this breaking news story as soon as we get it. In Baltimore City, some breaking news there as well. Three officers are hit by a car while directing traffic outside a nightclub. One of the officers fired several times at the vehicle. The driver did not stop. Others found the car a short time later. A scare at Jfk International airport ends with a tennessee man in Police Custody this morning. He checked his bags added united airline, and told the clerk that there were guns inside his luggage. Upon investigation, police found two pistols and two rifles, the serial numbers for the guns were missing. Thats when Police Arrested him for, possession of a weapon. Tsa says passengers can transport weapons legally but the serial numbers must be on the guns. The Forest Park Community comes together for a candlelight vigil in memory of a man stabbed to death earlier this week. Police are still looking into his mental. Monique luria goes up with loved ones and has the latest on the investigation. Reporter the morning. Doctors couldnt save him. No word yet on a motive or suspect in this case. Cracking down on panhandling. City leaders want to ban begging for money especially near restaurants and shops. Some say that ignores the real issues on baltimore street. Reporter soliciting money near Baltimore City restaurants, shops, and parking meters could simply against the law. There are to be a safe distance before they can approach. The proposal is about public safety. But for darrell johnson, begging for money, the proposal bans begging for money 10 feet from restaurants and shops. Johnson makes his post by city police headquarters. We are not robbing, stealing, shooting, selling drugs. We are asking for help. I really dont see the big deal about it. Soliciting is already a density law including begging for money within 10 feet of an atm or asking motorists for money off the side of the road. Downtown Business Leaders say the proposal eases concerns. Which is asking for a little respect for the people who dont have an opportunity to move away. The southwest means we tap into what our neighbors are already experiencing. Memphis at 55, atlanta at 44. They are warmer than what we are, and thats the air coming in our general direction. Highpressure has carved out a pretty fair amount of dry conditions for us in much of the country except where this is back toward texas and one offer on the great lakes. Its really been dry. The slipper on the great lakes has been associated with some of the clouds we had. Its a low pressure system with a front thats been dragging back toward texas and moved across the area. As you can see, scattered clouds as a result. But it moves through dry, so we are not going to any impact at all. Highpressure building in, and then another front comes through dry tomorrow. But first, turning to some of the other top headlines of the morning. In new york homicide detective trying to figure out what caused a man who stabbed several children to death. Homicide detectives are at the scene right now in brooklyn. The nypd first responded around 11 00 last night. Four of the victims are children. A 37yearold woman was also killed. All died from stab wounds to the upper body. One man is in custody. So far no charges have been filed. Police say a wanted california parolee fired first in a shootout that left six officers injured and led to a lengthy standoff. Hours after the standoff, police say 33yearold suspect finally surrendered. They believe hes a gang member with a violent criminal record that includes assault and carjacking. During the shooting bullets struck one officer in a job and another in the leg. Both of them are in the hospital in serious condition. Doctors treated and released for other officer struck by shrapnel. Meanwhile, the suspect is being held on a parole violation but is expected to face multiple charges of attempted murder. Murray is biological parents. She was found last week. She caught the eye of one of the officers because shes blonde and blue eyes. The couple says the child was given to them by her mother because she could not afford to take care of maria. They were charged with abduction and are in jail pending trial. In this mornings Wjz Healthwatch report, experts warn that colored contacts are not just for fun, they are medical devices and not regulated by the fda. That means you should not buy them without a prescription. Improper if it can lead to scratches on cornea. Good work from the cast of the good life. They celebrated the 100th episode by helping families in new jersey who are victims of super storm sandy. Reporter more than 5000 people out here at Stadium Place, and its supporting a cause that everybody is familiar with. I know my grandmother died at 32 of Breast Cancer. Everybody that we know seems to be affected in some way when touched by this very serious issue. We have actually a survivor here with us. Good morning. Good morning. You are not only a survivor. You are doing something to make it better for everybody else. Well, its been in my family for years. The case of me knowing of someday that it would be win. I wanted to do research. Ive been involved in several Research Studies. Part of it is because people ahead of me that have gone through this helped me. Being involved in several Research Studies i think will help all the others that are out there so they dont to go through some of the horrors that the people today are going through. How does it make you feel to see 5000 people all for the same cause, something you care so deeply about. Its absolutely wonderful, heartwarming. I look at them as being 5000 people like me who are out there raising funds, fighting the cause, putting hope and opportunity out there for all people that might deal with this. Its a program that lets inmates for military veterans work with dogs that will help wounded veterans when they come home. Alex dimitri has the story. Reporter the maryland prison houses inmates doing serious time for serious crimes. But locked up doesnt necessarily mean shut off. The early training of service dogs. Its fun and other prisons, but this is the first 10 veterans who have been convicted of crimes are raising the dogs returning from iraq and afghanistan. This is an opportunity for you to step up to the plate, do something unselfish. But help flows both ways when a dog is in the middle. From their home behind bars, the dogs now going to new york for advanced training. A good buy that is an easy. So its like losing a friend. I dont know. It will be very difficult. Although, waiting outside with the next crew might ease the loss. That advanced training could run three to six months. Before the dogs are matched with a disabled veteran. Reporter more than 5000 people out here at Stadium Place<\/a>, and its supporting a cause that everybody is familiar with. I know my grandmother died at 32 of Breast Cancer<\/a>. Everybody that we know seems to be affected in some way when touched by this very serious issue. We have actually a survivor here with us. Good morning. Good morning. You are not only a survivor. You are doing something to make it better for everybody else. Well, its been in my family for years. The case of me knowing of someday that it would be win. I wanted to do research. Ive been involved in several Research Studies<\/a>. Part of it is because people ahead of me that have gone through this helped me. Being involved in several Research Studies<\/a> i think will help all the others that are out there so they dont to go through some of the horrors that the people today are going through. How does it make you feel to see 5000 people all for the same cause, something you care so deeply about. Its absolutely wonderful, heartwarming. I look at them as being 5000 people like me who are out there raising funds, fighting the cause, putting hope and opportunity out there for all people that might deal with this. Its a program that lets inmates for military veterans work with dogs that will help wounded veterans when they come home. Alex dimitri has the story. Reporter the maryland prison houses inmates doing serious time for serious crimes. But locked up doesnt necessarily mean shut off. The early training of service dogs. Its fun and other prisons, but this is the first 10 veterans who have been convicted of crimes are raising the dogs returning from iraq and afghanistan. This is an opportunity for you to step up to the plate, do something unselfish. But help flows both ways when a dog is in the middle. From their home behind bars, the dogs now going to new york for advanced training. A good buy that is an easy. So its like losing a friend. I dont know. It will be very difficult. Although, waiting outside with the next crew might ease the loss. That advanced training could run three to six months. Before the dogs are matched with a disabled veteran. Police are investigating what appears to be a murder suicide in glen bernie. Just after 1 30 this morning, Police Rushed<\/a> to the 1900 block of armistead street and found two men and one woman dead from gunshot wounds. Detectives believe the suspect is one of the deceased. Police say the militants are 27 and 37 years old and the woman is 26. We will have more on this breaking news story as soon as we get it. In Baltimore City<\/a> we are also updating the second breaking news story. Three officers are at shock trauma after being hit by a car while directing traffic outside a nightclub. We have three other teams here today, so theyve been raising money for the past 12 months to help the American Cancer Society<\/a> fight back. This is the 12th year here in baltimore. They not only raise awareness that raise the dollars we need to fund our mission. So our research programs, our education, our programs and services that help patients get through their cancer diagnosis.
