charges including a hate crime related to the suicide of his gay college roommate, tyler clement. he used a web cam to spy on him having sex with another man. these acts were purposeful, they were intentional and they were planned. >> reporter: robby sent an instant message to a high school friend telling him about the sexual encounter. the friend was the first witness and read the message to the court. >> i went in to his room and turned on the web cam and saw him making out with some dude. >> reporter: two days later he asked if he could have the room to himself again. robby invited friends to watch on his web cam, what he expected to be another sexual encounter. he knew what his roommate was up to and disabled the camera. the next day he jumped from the george washington bridge. prosecutors offered him a plea deal to avoid a trial. he rejected it insisting he did not commit crimes. his parents listened as the defense stressed he was 18 at the time. just a boy, who was not home phobic and meant no harm. >> there was no bullying. >> reporter: his attorney told jurors the image with the other man list lasted a few seconds and a few people saw it. manuel gallegus, wjz 13 eye witness news. if convicted robby faces ten years in prison. police make a second arrest in a violent road rage incident. mike hellgren is live with more on the suspect and the charges. >> arundel county police arrested the driver who was stabbed in the incident. furlough is facing assault charges after an altercation. it started when the men got in to a confrontation at a red light. police say frederick stabbed furlough, the two vehicles crashed and the men got in to a fight. police charged sud brook this week. coming up new tonight at 6:00, mike speaks exclusively to furlough's wife who watched the incident unfold. huh she says this has impacted the family. jurors listened to testimony on both sides of the george huguely murder trial for the past three weeks. >> at least one juror says it was easily the most difficult thing he has ever had to do but confident they made the right decision. >> the juror describes the photo of yeardley love's battered face. the most difficult part of the murder trial was seeing love's autopsy photos. >> i never knew yeardley love, but i got to know her best friends, i got to know her family, i got to see parts of her life in photographs. >> reporter: love who grew up in cockeysville was killed in may of 2010, huguely was found guilty of second degree murder and grand larceny. >> we all did not think that the killing was premeditated. we don't think he went over there with the purpose of killing yeardley love. george's statement was very painful. i feel for him. he needs to bare responsible for what happened. i wish we weren't put in that situation to make that judgment. i wish it never happened. >> reporter: the jury recommends huguely spend 26 years behind bars. >> when we came out with the verdict, both times, i was not afraid to look at george and look at him and i think that's because i was confident that what we did was right. >> jurors reveal why they recommended a 26 year sentence, i will have that story tonight at 5:00. as for the love family, or huguely himself, the juror doesn't know if he will ever contact him. same-sex marriage pro popents -- opponents are beginning to process of putting the issue to voters inside your soul, remember your mission, remember your discipline. >> reporter: u.s. officials promised a full investigation in to the koran burning incident and confident it won't have a long lasting impact on the mission there. the up tick in violence is concerning the u.s., and it's nay to allies, who are working to withdrawal all troops from afghanistan by the end of 2014, it's gratified the is severe weather to our south, let's get over to bob turk who is tracking a tornado warning. this means doppler radar is indicating rotation in the thunderstorm near the hebern area. it's 60 miles per hour, off to the east and northeast, and that warning until 4:45 this afternoon. possibly could spawn a tornado through that region. packing delmar, on the maryland delaware border until 4:45. if you are in the region, take shelter. even with that tornado activity, the winds can gust to at least 50-60 miles per hour with that kind of motion. rest of the area, thunderstorm activity, particularly across southeastey southeast,wa camco. escalating violence in syria is sparking international outrage. tina krauss reports for wjz, foreign leaders are meeting to demand an end to the killing. >> reporter: hundreds of protesters lail to syrian president tried to storm a international conference in tanesha. foreign ministers from 50 countrys are meeting the demand an end to the violence in syria. u.s. secretary of state, hilary clinton, is among those at the gathering, calling for a series fire the allow humanitarian aid in to the country and and pressing for sanctions and travel bans. rebels are locked in a battle with syrian government forces and asking international leaders to send them more weapons to take down the regime. activists say troops executed 18 people in a village of central syria friday including at least five children. the united nations humanitarian chief says the situation is deteriorating and the syrian government is blocking aid. thousands died in the upper rising that began a year ago. clinton says ha sad will have more blood on his hands if he doesn't let aid through. russia and china are not taking part in the talks after rejecting an earlier u.n. proposal to end the crack down on the opposition. a home video of the space shuttle challenger disaster is being made public for the first time. kai jackson has more on what is footage shows. >> the 1986 video surfaced on the website new newscientists.com. this is only the second amateur video to go public since 1986. all seven on board died when the space shuttle broke apart 73 two sisters escaped the path of a speeding train. >> this rescue occurred in the nick of time. it happened to more than a dozen others including a woman rescued by a college student from baltimore. with only seconds to spare, a driver and passenger, sisters from del aware, escape an on coming train. two sanitation workers happened to drive by and see the car stuck around 4:00 a.m. thursday morning on the university of del aware campus. the video capture bade surveillance camera shows the confused driver making a turn onto the tracks, thinking it was the road. her car gets stuck , the wheels spin for a few minutes, the passenger gets out tries to push the car but the driver doesn't want to live her vehicle. >> i'm like, i can't believe this is happening. >> reporter: the two men and the passenger move away, knowing the train is approaching but the driver is trying to move her car. told her four times, i said i can't leave her. i said get out of the car. she stepped one foot out, by the time he got the second foot out , the train wiped the car out. >> the dargo train plows in to the car pushing it hundreds of yards down the track leaving it looking like this, a mangled
