>> no. maintain confidentiality. the increase is one that we will be monitoring very closely. chris: prince william county parents also were not alert it their districts only 19% spike in 2015. >> that's not a particular reason for alarm. chris: with 86,000 students, they say 108 incidents, despite the increase, is not worry some. johnson makes the same argument. >> i think anytime a young person risks their safety by engaging in violent behavior it's important. chris: david murphy, a development all psychologist, says we don't know if the number of local kids taking weapons to school is high or low because, incredibly, no one collects school weapon data nationally. why not?
