Things are looking good on the American Legion bridge as well and that is going to be on the outer as well as the inner loop and that is coming in from virginia toward maryland or vice versa. The house passed ameasure that would strip money from the president s healthcare law. Many people say this is going to be a bitter backandforth. The American People dont want the president s healthcare bill and they dont want the government to shut down. Now, the president says im not going to negotiate. Well, im sorry but it just doesnt work that way. You can huff, you can puff, for 21 hours, but you cannot blow the Affordable Care act away. Well, you could hear it right there the backandforth between democrats and republicans, likely through the weekend and beyond as well possibly. Were not just talking about congress but the hundreds of thousands of federal workers that would be affected as well. Police have made two arrests in connection with a deadly stabbing near a giantsdodgers baseball game. San Francisco Police<\/a> say Jonathan Denver<\/a> was at the game with family. He was a few blocks from the stadium when he got into an argument with a group of giants fans. That exchange turned physical and someone stabbed denver to death. Police arrested Michael Montgomery<\/a> and another person. Montgomerys person says he was defending himself. Things are looking better for twins in North Carolina<\/a> who captured National Attention<\/a> over bullying incidents. This is the heart warming story earlier this week. Hes going to be heading down toward route 50 and hes going to take that inbound to check out the delays into 295. Its a familiar scene here on capitol hill, getting right up against the deadline while congress is used to that, but were getting down to the wire here and with no compromise on the table it seems like a Government Shutdown<\/a> could be more likely. What we do understand that later today about 9 30 this morning the senate is expected to reconvene here. And then later they will take up the bill to fund the government through november 15th. However, it will not take away any money from the healthcare law. That is something republicans have been looking to do. Republicansled house already passed a measure that would fund the government but would defund president obamas healthcare law set to get in motion next week. The senate strips the bill of that language and is set to take that vote later today. The bill would then going go back to the house where gop leaders said the peared down bill is no good. When asked if it had a chance of passing the house house Speaker John Boehner<\/a> said i dont see that happening. Were not talking about just this issue, theres another deadline looming on capitol hill as well. The country is set to reach the debt limit in just weeks and many analysts say that could be even more chaotic and complicated here on capitol hill as they try to get another deadline right up against it but, again, were going to be watching capitol hill very closely to see exactly what happens here in the senate. We also are seeing things move right along once you get past that in toward the beltway on 395 northbound looking great on the 14th street bridge. Delayfree conditions on 270 for the most part. It happened yesterday evening at Northwestern High<\/a> school just before 6 00, the driver lost control of his vehicle and hit students practicing marching for the rotc. I saw the ambulance and cars. Police say none of the students injuries appear to be lifethreatening but they say that a sun glare is what caused the driver to lose control. Hes been charged, though, with several counts of negligent driving and driving without proper supervision because he only has his learners permit. Around the nation now a close call for pilot of a small plane in texas city, texas. The plane had engine failure so the pilot had to make an emergency landing. The pilot landed on grass next to eye street appropriately named skyline. The landing was successful and pilot not hurt. A 3yearold boy gets a hero status this morning for saving his mothers life. 911 emergency. Yeah. Hello . My mom my mom. Well, that guy, thats him right there on the 911 call, he saw his mother have a seizure and knew something was wrong so he called 911 and stayed on phone with dispatchers until help arrived. He just must have had the strength of somebody behind him because he was just beyond brave. Guy was honored for his bravery. The Department Gave<\/a> him a plaque and a hat. He also got to hang out in a real fire truck for the day. Oh, my goodness. And he apparently had never witnessed his mom having a seizure before so he didnt know what was going on but knew something was wrong. And another kid story here. Some window washers are using super powers to cheer up a few kids in a birmingham hospital. A feelgood story of the day. Employees of the squeegee cleaning services dressed up at super heros. Weve got a camera a little bit further back just to show you where these delays start to really build a little bit further back, you can see there, hov system running heavy as well as those through lanes and this is going to be near objecting i won, all the way toward that bridge toward Prince William<\/a> parkway, northbound delays.
