afternoon on abc seven. prince george's county police are trained to determine who was behind a deadly shooting in temple hills. officers found a woman dead inside a home and a man wounded outside on 23rd parkway late last night. jeanette reyes has more on the investigation. reporter: we just learned from prince george's county police that this was not a random shooting. . it was drug-related. it happened at this apartment complex on st. barnabas road. police have closed up the apartment is part of a crime scene. there is droplets of blood all over the patio here. at about 10:00 last night, they found a woman shot to death inside of the units and a man with a gunshot wound just outside. he was taken to the hospital. >> this is usually a quiet area. it used to be rowdy back in the day but it is not how it is any more. very peaceful. reporter: the only think authorities will tell us is that the man is still at the hospital but is expected to survive. jeanette reyes, abc 7 news. melanie: baltimore county police are launching a program to equip 1400 officers with body cameras. the first 150 cameras will be used in july of 2016. jim johnson says times call for police agencies to enhance accountability and strengthen relationships with communities. this move comes as police agencies here in the d.c. region and across the country are using or considering using body cameras. turning to the weather now. it is a nice, sunny start to our friday. what is in store for our weekend? doug: it's looking pretty good. it will turn a bit cooler for the day on sunday. looking live outside the weather center, we have sunshine from the national harbour. gorgeous day. temperatures approaching 80 degrees in spots and that is exactly what we had at reagan national right now. just a few fairweather clouds over the wheel. these temperatures in the upper 70's to about 80. it will climb to the mid to upper 80's in spots. just enough of an increase in humidity levels to make you realize we are still officially in the summer season. this is our forecast high. ranging from the lower 80's and upper montgomery county and 87 degrees at reagan national airport. for tonight we will clear off. if you have activities, absolutely perfect weather. we will talk about the weekend and the next chance of any rain coming up in a couple of minutes. melanie: thanks. republicans in the house are pushing for votes on a bill to cut planned parenthood. one of the measures would block planned parenthood's federal funds for a year. the other would afflict criminal penalties on doctors who do not try sitting infants born alive during abortions. to regret seven of votes block the bill in the senate but some republicans are threatening a government shutdown over the issue. a friend of charleston church shooter dylann roof is excited in court. joey meek is accused of lying to investigators and feeling to report a crime. he said roof stayed with him before the shooting that left nine church rivers dead. he also told associated press that roof and made racist remarks while drunk. police have identified a pickup driver killed in a crash with a tour bus in laurel. news chopper seven was over the scene every night -- route 198 and rockbridge. michael palermo died. 59 people were on the tour bus, seven of them were injured. police are looking into what caused the crash. we will see how our traffic is moving on this friday. any problems out there for midday?
