Instead of getting on the bus and going to work. Cheryl at age 21, she was off to a military base in california to replace the men on the front lines in world war ii. Her grand daughter is inspired. She took a train across the country to join the base in san diego. Five or a sevenday trip. Two years of active duty and six more in reserve.
