discovered e-mails regarding hillary clinton that are worth taking a closer look. what the e-mails are specifically we don't know at this time. that has not been made public. the "new york times" is reporting they surfaced in a separate investigation into the anthony weiner scandal. his wife is hillary clinton's right-hand person for a long time. you imagine very quick and excited reaction from donald trump and his supporters. they are hoping this is the october surprise to ch mr. trump: i have great respect for the fact that the f.b.i. and the department of justice are now willing to have the courage to right the horrible mistake that they made. this is bigger than watergate. this is bigger than watergate. in my opinion. scott: now this news broke plane in air on her way to a rally in iowa. she got to that rally and she did not address it at all in her remarks. in fact, her camp was quite quiet about it until ten minutes ago. we got a statement from the chair of the hillary clinton campaign calling it extraordinary is that this would be released by the f.b.i. with 11 days to go. and he implored on the director of the f.b.i. to issue more information to american public, clarifier of sorts that he believes w help state his case so it is not the bombshell at the moment it appears to be. jonathan: what impact could it have on the race? unlikely. they dug in their heels and believe someone is out to get her and it won't change their mind. there are a lot of people who are already voting as we speak. lindsey: there is a lot of reaction from social media. this is a heat map showing how many people are talking about the issue. right now f.b.i. as well as the director of the f.b.i. right now. a lot of people talking about that. i want to show you some of the reaction from congress. there are a lot of congress members that have so much to write about this, that they are taking pictures of their statements and posting those to twitter. paul ryan, the speaker of the house says the f.b.i. is opening the investigation. saying hillary clinton has nobody but herself to blame. we have kevin mccarthy writing this as well. now many republicans are speaking out right now including saying hillary clinton's reckless conduct put the national security at risk. we have questions and it's unclear what the investigation is focusing in. john cornyn said they originally focused on the classification rules. the record or the obstruction of justice, will they now? [snoring.] take the roar out of snore. michelle: every day americans place calls to 911 assuming they are minutes away from getting help. alison: however, 70% come from cell phones. the "7 on your side" iphone came up with the shocking results when we tested the accuracy of the calls. michelle: the investigator lisa fletcher discovered 911 dispatchers are often as helpless as the victims they are trying to reach. >> 911. what is the add >> i'm in a car in a wake. lisa: 31-year-old chanelle anderson was about to drown. despite the 911 operator's best efforts the system could accurately locate her in time. moments later the cell phone connection is lost. anderson trapped in her s.u.v. sinks to the bottom of a georgia lake. >> fairfax county 911. country. >> it is absolutely infuriating we can't find this person and help them. lisa: sherry white became a dispatcher because she wanted to save lives. that's what we took the job for. to help the individual. >> it relies on the cell phone carrier. unlike apps on your phone like ubeer that automatically send information about what you are, 911 co communicate with individual cell phone networks to search for you using less accurate technology. >> it is really frustrating to understand that someone that is calling for a pizza has a better, more accurate way of locating the customer than does 911 call-taker. lisa: steve runs one of the largest 911 calls center in the u.s. in fairfax, virginia. he agreed to let us test the cell phone accuracy for the four largest carriers. >> 911, what is your emergency? >> here you are. lisa: t-mobile places me more than a quarter mile away. >> this is somewhere near the dome. lisa: if i were calling callingd i had no idea where i was and we had to rely on the technology you'd send an emergency crew to the dump. using my personal cell phone on verizon i place the next emergency call. >> mina, what is your emergency. >> this is where it shows you, piney branch roa from where i am. next at&t. call is not properly routeing to the fairfax 911. and instead somehow lands at a transfer center. it takes nearly a minute, 52 seconds to get me on the line with someone who can actually send help. i try the last carrier. >> that puts you here. 4725. so again, at least, what a lisa: in every case there was a problem. >> the technology exists to make sure it doesn't happen. why wouldn't we use it? lisa: admiral jamie barnett is the former chief of homeland security and says the results of the test were no surprise. >> explain to me why the carriers were not required to use better technology with the location accuracy. >> you pay for the g.p.s. chip in your phone and the federal g satellite. that is not an expensive solution. every other solution costs money. i they think this is good enough. it's not good enough. we need better technology to find where you are. >> ma'am? is taking video from the cell phone. you can see the smoke pouring out of the american airlines flight. this was on the way from chicago to miami. we know the ladders were deployed from the plane. you can see on the right side of the screen, that is the you can see the charred back portion of the plane. they got the fire out. at this point we are not hearing of injuries on board the flight, which is a miracle considering when you look at the left side of the screen and the thick black smoke pouring out of the plane. o'hare, part of the airport are closed because of what is happening here. as a result there is a snowball effects. there are delays on flights coming into chicago, which is a big deal considering the world series. some folks want to go see the game. the flights are we thankfully understand at last check everybody is okay as a result of this. but from the airport they can see the smoke coming out of the plane for miles. keep it here with abc7 for updates throughout the happened from drinking too much. a crucial revelation in the case against daron wint today. he is the man charged with murdering a d.c. family in their upscale gnome 2014. today, prosecutors told the american workers are seeing a steady increase in the wages and the benefits. it rios steadily from july to september to continue a trend seen over the past year plus. well, french lawmakers are backing measure that would tax people who rent their homes people who use airbnb and similar sites. the bill suggests hitting people with a property tax. if they make more than 23,000 euros renting
