here. the suspect in that d.c. mansion murder. i should say murders four people murdered there. that suspect is behind bars after a mastiff manhunt. >> daron wint was taken into custody just hours ago along with several others. it's still a mystery why the former marine and ex-con who once worked for the victims would want to kill them. with more here's abc's ryan smith. >> the manhunt is over. this man in police custody. charged with first degree murder in that quadruple homicide at this had mansion. killing this family of three. savopoulos his wife amy son phillip and their housekeeper. authorities say daron wint was inside the mansion, new evidence linking him to what happened the night before the house went up in flames. last wednesday evening, an employee receives a voice moil from savvas savopoulos instructing her not to come in the next day. he says his wife is sick and the house keep ser staying over to care for her. later that night, two pizzas are ordered and left on the doorstep of the home. the next morning, police reports obtained by "the washington post" reveal savopoulos made a flurry of phone calls including some to his bank and accountant. later that morning agassistant of savopoulos drops $40,000 off at the house. then just a few hours later, the house is up in flames. the three adults found dead in the home stabbed and doused with gasoline. and the child found burned in his bedroom. authorities now believe wint was the man seen running near the family's burned out porsha in this surveillance video. he grew up in guyana moving to the u.s. in 2000 and at one point a recruit for the u.s. marines. >> it's very hostile. he's arrogant. he doesn't lis. >> and he has a long rap sheet including arrests for assault and domestic violence. that criminal history led to his identification. this lab tracked him down from dna left on a pizza crust of that dominos pizza ordered that fateful night. it's not known whether he acted alone. we learned wint was no stranger to the savopoulos family and their business. now this community on ejiofor a week. resting a little easier. ryan smith, abc news washington. >> the fugitive task force since wint was a passenger in a car when they stopped it late last night. it's unclear who was with him. they say they tracked wint to new york city and barely missed him the night before. >> now to the indictments in baltimore. formal charges from a grand jury against six police officers in the death of freddie gray. weeks after rioting erupted across the sfwe the charges range from second degree murder to reckless endangerment. he suffered a fatal spinal injury in police custody. officers acknowledged they ignored his cries for help. more from richard can toe. >> a baltimore grand jury indicted is the six police officers charged in last month's death of fed from i gray. >> these past two weeks, my team has been presenting evidence to a grand jury. >> the indictments are similar to the charge announced may 1st including second degree murder reckless endangerment and mon slaughter in a case that began when freddie gray was arrested bid two police officers handcuffed and shackled and put head first in a police van and driven around without a seat belt. his pleas for attention were ignored. gray died one week later in a hospital. the grand jury decision mirrors statements by james holmes. jurors viewed autopsy photos and heard descriptions of the injuries to the 12 people killed in the attack. in suburban denver. most heart wrenching was the the corner's report on the death of a 6-year-old girl in the theater shot multiple times. the jury heard a 911 call from inside the theater in which you can hear shots being fired. >> 911, what is your emergency? >> i can't hear you. what address? >> theater. >> i can't hear you. the address again? >> there's gunshots. >> the 27-year-old holmes showed little emotion in the courtroom. he's pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity for that july 2012 massacre. the trial is expected to last through the summer. >> the oil spill along the california coast has forced the closure of about 160 square miles of fishing. just a fraction of the estimated 105,000 gallons of oil that leaked from a ruptured pipeline has been collected. clean-up efforts and the investigation into why that pipeline broke are expected to take accused of murdering a wealthy family, you're seeing him there, that family was just blocks from the vice president's official residence. well, he is now under arrest. daron wint is his name. he was stopped in a car in washington, d.c. last night, taken into custody along with several others. we get the very latest now from abc's karen travers. >> a frantic search from washington, d.c. to new york city is now over. >> tonight we were able to find the location of wint and take him down and arrest him. >> 34-year-old daron wint has turned himself into police. he's the main suspect in last week's brutal homicide and arson that left savvas savopoulos, his wife amy, their 10-year-old son and their housekeeper vera figueroa for dead. authors told abc news they believe he had been staying with a girlfriend in brooklyn, new york. >> we do believe there is a connection between this suspect in this case through the business. >> a domino's pizza could be the breakthrough washington, d.c. police were looking for. >> sources familiar with the case tell abc news that wint was identified by dna from a leftover domino's pizza crust ordered the night before the savopoulos mansion was set on fire. starting at 7:00 a.m. the morning of the fire police reports obtained by "the washington post" show that savopoulos made a flurry of phone calls, including ones to his bank and accountant. a source familiar with the case told abc news that same morning, an assistant of savopoulos's dropped off $40,000 in cash at his house while the victims were apparently being head hostage inside. savopoulos told the housekeeper's husband he would call him back. so the man left. hours later, the fire erupted and soon everyone inside was discovered dead. karen travers, abc news, washington. >> police say wint is a certified welder who worked for the victim's iron company in the past. still not clear why he would want them dead. you can stay with us here at abc news as more developments continue to come into us. >> all six baltimore police officers charged in the death of freddie gray have been indicted by a grand jury. the officer who was driving the van that transparted gray after the arrest is facing the most serious charge. he faces a count of second degree murder. that carries a 30-year penalty. the other allegations range from manslaughter to assault and reckless endangerment. rioting erupted across baltimore after gray died of his injuries. prosecutors say his pleas for medical attention were ignored. >> turning now to a growing flood threat for much of texas and south texas outside of houston, the trinity river has crested at its highest level in some 21 yards. it's inundated farms. under feet of water. forecast calls for the river to hold steady at 29 feet but it could creep up over the next five days. northern texas, the red cross opening emergency shelters in wichita falls where there was a severe drought. and now residents are being urged to evacuate. the wichita river is rising there. the flood warnings are expected all weekend long. let's turn to justin pavek for the latest. good morning to you. >> thanks and good morning. severe weather once again targeting the southern plains. this is a double-edged sword. heavy rain and severe weather. so flash flooding is going to be a big concern along interstate 35. dallas and oklahoma, estimated 105,000 gallons of the oil that leaked from a ruptured pipeline which has been collected. the company that owns that line has had 175 safety violations in the last decade. clean-up efforts and the investigation into why that pipeline broke expected to take place -- take months. >> we talk about all the time it's a bad idea to text and drive. how about this, folks. how would you like
