Autria see you then. Authorities are trying to figure out what caused a school bus to jump a curb and slam into this home in a philadelphia suburb. It happened around 7 45 this morning in blue bell pennsylvania. Officials say students were on the bus at the time but they were not injured. The students actually managed to open the rear door and exit the bus. Driver was hospitalized, though for evaluation. Police say a pedestrian accident in Montgomery County is now fatal. It happened around 6 30 this morning on university boulevard near arcola avenue in wheaton. Investigators say an 81yearold man was struck. The car d on the scene and police are expected to release more information a little later on today. And this comes as police in arlington are launching a Spring Safety Campaign focusing on Pedestrian Safety on the roadways. Happening right now, southbound lanes of rock creek parkway are still closed between m and p streets because overnight, chunks of rock fell on to the parkway from a crumbling bridge. As mike conneen reports, in late 2014 ddot was planning to rehabilitate that bridge later this year. Park police shut down the parkways two southbound lanes after discovering around 1 00 a. M. Fairly significant pieces of the bridge had fallen on to the roadway. Now, this low pressure system has quite a bit of energy with it and some of the thunderstorms that developed this afternoon could be strong or severe in parts of missouri stretching over into illinois.
