philadelphia kidnapping case. delmon barnes is now in virginia. >> can you tell us why you did this, mr. barnes? >> he was arrested in jessup, inyland, for a kidnapping pennsylvania. he was expedited overnight. he is accused of the abduction of a 16-year-old girl last month. prosecutors say he sexually assaulted the girl, hit her with a shovel, and poured bleach and gas on her. she was able to escape as he was digging a grave. >> a teenager is now fighting for her life and police have new information about the incident. breanne carter has updates. >> just moments ago, we got new up dates that we continue to follow at this hour. a wheaton high school student at this moment is said to be fighting for his life after being struck by an suv in a parking lot. just after 7:00 thursday night, he was walking in the lot when he was hit by a dark-colod suv that left the scene. police tell us a short time later a man believed to be the driver of that suv and two friends showed up at a police station in the area to fire a report of vandalism and assault. here is what we know at this point may have played out. police say that the individuals inside the suv were eating at a burger king when they noticed another group of guys watching from the lot. they told police that that group of about five-10 men started throwing roxette the suv. the driver says he left the parking lot and did not realize he had hit anyone. that is the latest from montgomery county police. at this hour, what actions may or may not have been taken during the incident are still part of the ongoing investigation. it is also unclear if the groups knew each other. the identities have not been released at this point. police are asking anyone who may have been in the parking lot around 7:00 last night to give them a call. they are trying to gather as many accounts of what happened as they can. breanne carter, abc seven news. charged withts are assaulting another student in high school. the teens allegedly assaulted an underclassman on the football team. theallegations do not meet criteria to be considered hazing under virginia law. >> we switched gears to the forecast now. a cooler start to the
