Detectives say that the man was found with the gunshot ones, not conscious and not breathing at the time. But there is another aspect of the job, rarely discussed. It is called Community Policing. I think we can still do things the oldfashioned ways. Captain paul says that Means Community meetings, talking to residents, and showing they are, in fact, the good guys. We need their help just like they need our help. Police say it is a common misconception that they sit around their office waiting for calls to comment. But so many officers do like to get out into the community and build relationships with residents. It is not just a uniform and a marked police car cruising through the neighborhood. We have the latest developments in the search. They are still calling this a search and rescue effort, not a recovery one. That is significant. They did spot to bring about 700 miles from the last communication with the pilot. There is no immediate indication. It is that needle in a haystack feel, a desperate search for any sign of flight 8501 in the blue expanse of the java sea.
