peace in the streets. >> organizers use the discussion to prompt more involbut even they were surprised by the turnout. >> people have become desensitized to the violence. with this overflow crowd, we person who feels the way i feel. i feel horrible. >> they are hoping this meeting will be a springboard to a coalition to work on the solution. one person said, listen, we need long-term solutions. the victim was found on an imperial drive just a four 4:00 this afternoon. the victim was shot. officers need your help investigating the deadly shooting. if you have information, contact prince george's county police. >> developing news from the middle east, where one of the united states' top allies, saudi arabia's king abdullah has died. he was 90 years old. in his conservative kingdom, he was seen as a reformer. he ruled that women would be allowed to vote in 2015 and also helped in the fight against al qaeda. king abdullah was admitted to the hospital several weeks ago for treatment of pneumonia. president obama said, "i always valued king abdullah's perspective and appreciated are genuine and warm friendship." he will be succeeded by his brother. >> a woman was emptying the dishwasher when she turned and saw a man with a gun. tonight, she shares the terrifying story with us and says the fact the criminal is still on the loose highlights a bigger problem. tom roussey is live in the newsroom with more. >> that pair problem involves location. this is the loudoun county -fairfax county line. the woman lives right here. this is an area that is in loudoun county, but you cannot get to it by road from all of these parts. the only way to get to it is seneca road, which is a fairfax county road. residents say that for years that has affected the police and fire service, and they think it happened again monday. >> just emptying the dishwasher. >> caroline suddenly noticed a man beside her. >> his face was completely covered in black with two slits and he was holding a gun. >> she screamed, her husband ran in, and the man demanded money. caroline tried to sneak out. >> he said let's go upstairs and go through the jewelry box. >> she instead gave him jewelry that she was wearing. >> he was stuffing it in his pockets and iran. the man who had gotten in through the garage door stall more from her husband, alex, and got away. she believes that the police response was hampered by her position near the county line. about a dozen concerned residents talk to fairfax and loudoun county officers about this issue. >> we want the best for everybody involved. >> the police and fire officials say they are working on a gate that will automatically open to get them to the neighborhood faster from loudoun county. the sheriff's office says that it in fairfax county work well together and if a call comes into one, they can ask the other for help. but a supervisor has to approve it. >> it's an emergency life-and-death. >> neighbors living here said they once waited 45 minutes for paramedics when their son was in shock. in caroline's case, she said she waited 20 minutes and the loudoun county sheriff's office said they were in the home -- in the neighborhood in eight minutes, but they don't immediately run to the home. tom roussey, abc 7 news. >> in annapolis, two more bodies were found two remain missing in the rubble of the home destroyed by fire monday morning. don pyle and his wife, sandy, and their four grandchildren are believed to have been in the home at the time. relatives and neighbors are in shock. >> it has been not knowing 100% the closure. had to bring a flower, a ravens helmet. they were ravens fans. >> the identities of the four bodies have not been released. a specialist from the atf is assisting in the investigation and the massive fire. tonight, the fire at a new jersey apartment complex is finally out. more than a thousand people from the complex are now homeless. governor chris christie is promising help. the missions are flooding in. the fire began wednesday afternoon when workers were repairing plumbing. >> promising change one week after the deadly incident at the l'enfant plaza station. the list of 10 changes are met to improve safety. number one on the list, a plan to have train operators cut the air intake as soon as cars are stopped in smoke. yesterday was a field that fans meant to push smoke from train cars actually pulled the smoke inside. these changes are moving into place as the investigation is far from over. senator barbara mikulski and other members of congress are pushing for answers tonight. >> we are not going to let this issue go. we want safety. >> metro announced changes to its communication's plan and the scheduling of emergency drills. other suggestions are tied to installing new smoke detectors protection for the electrified third rail, and emergency signage. those options will be studied in the next month. >> we have some changes coming with the weather, today for charles severance to find that answer. in the courtroom severance interrupted proceedings two times, one time saying that his defense attorney does not represent him. severance is a kill -- is accused of killing nancy dunning and two others. this is the second psychological evaluation ordered for severance full he refuse the interview in the first one. in montgomery county the driver who hit and killed a 13-year-old girl near a soccer field will spend 60 days in jail. vazquez was behind the wheel when she was hit and killed in silver spring in july. task is did not have a maryland drivers license where learners permit -- vasquez did not have a maryland drivers license or learners permit and she gave it a arful apology in court today. >> a fairfax county employee was accused of sexually assaulting a child in falls church. the charges against him are not connected with any of the students or his work at fairfax county schools. he was hired by the school system in 2003 as a computer instructor at edison academy in alexandria. the time he passed a criminal background check. the charges stem from an alleged incident at a home in a manassas between 2004 and 2010, with the alleged victim a family member. >> thousands flooded the streets in the annual march for life rally to protest abortion. pro-abortion rights demonstrators gathered outside of the high court. the demonstrations took place as congressional leaders canceled a vote that would have banned abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy and instead improved a -- instead approved a watered-down bill ending federal funding for abortion. >> republican maryland governor larry hogan spent his first days in office trying to fix the budget shortfall. he said his plan would close the $ 750 million budget gap. to the weather because we have several systems headed our way? >> the next one could hit late tomorrow, the next one on its heels. these are fairly minimal impact. the wide view, winter storm watches. if we have a winter storm watch it means it's possible winter weather. it can go to winter storm status within a day or two. with the advisories in the mountains, we have winter storm warnings were it has snowed in el paso, texas, and even new mexico. i don't see a winter storm watch . that is one thing to note. this next system is a coastal, strong in nature. longer duration, but it will be mixed. the entire viewing area, i don't see pure snow for any way and -- for anyone, i have a mix of precipitation type. the upper-level storm over texas, the developing pressure over the gulf. that will be tracking our way and that is the coastal system. the low pressure will be here. this is the rain, sleet, snow mixture. this is a pure mess over thon, beginning tomorrow night. mainly overnight into saturday. not until we get till tomorrow by the afternoon, 40 degrees. the onset of preecip, the latest data says after 3:00 this could be rain moving in. as futurecast shows, this is the washington metro, cool enough for some snow, even some sleet pellets, showing up as mixed precipitation. overnight saturday into sunday, i think it is mainly a rain event for much of the washington metro, east of the catoctin's and the blue ridge. the next transition, morning our saturday, possibly some snow. i think there will be little or no accumulation. overnight friday, saturday is the main event. one close look at some of the details of the forecast, our by our. we get precipitation, still signs are putting at washington being mainly a rain event, into the early morning hours. >> ok, so not
