today: wet, windy and chilly! high: 48 wind: se 15-25 mph tonight: showers ending overnight. low: 40 wind: se-ne 5-10 mph anchor adlibs traffic red on yellow on traffic map = some delays green on traffic map = no delays the violent week continues for milwaukee... police this morning are investigating several shootings-- including one homicide. kim is in the newsroom with the investigation... police were called to the area of 19th and capitol just before 9-30 last night. that's where officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. he died at the scene. the circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. no suspects are in custody. around the same time last night we're told 22-year-old man was shot near 28th and wisconsin. the victim says he was walking when he heard gunshots.... when he realized he was shot, he called for help. he was taken to the hospital and is expected to be ok. suspects in connection to this shooting as well. in whitewater -- police are investigating a homicide. we're told that 43-year-old kenneth myszkewicz was found unresponsive at a home yesterday morning -- and later declared dead. no word yet on how he died...but police are calling this a targeted incident - saying this does not appear to be a random act. there is a suspect in custody. we are learning more details on a homicide investigation on milwaukee's east side. kayla bauske was discovered inside a home near hamilton and arlington.she was found - stuffed inside a plastic tote. a 22-year-old man was arrested in connection with this case. police say the two knew each other. the family of a man shot and killed by a wauwatosa police officer...demanding answers. this past weekend marked the fourth month anniversary of jay anderson's death deandra corinthios is live from the wauwatosa police department with the latest developments. a news conference this afternoon. they say they want justice...and criminal charges against the officer who killed anderson...after learning the same police officer was involved in another shooting related death last year sunday anderson's family released balloons in wauwatosa's madison park... jay anderson was sitting in a parked car in that park on june 23rd when he was shot. police say the officer went to had a gun. believing anderson was reaching for the weapon...the officer fired. the case is in the hands of the district attorney's office. the family was shown a 20 second clip of the incident...but they want to see more. the attorney for the anderson family says the officer who killed anderson was also involved in a fatal shooting in july of 2015. a 29-year-old man was killed after wauwatosa police say he confronted them with a sword. the officer was cleared in that case. 11 months later anderson was killed. im a little concerned that an officer would go back on the job relatively quickly and be in a one-man squad and now get involved with another individual the 20 second clip of the shooting was sent to the fbi. a spokesman for the wauwatosa police department tells fox 6 the department has not seen the footage of the shooting and does not have a copy. they say they "will be making all records in this case makes a final determination..." reporting live in wauwatosa deandra corinthios fox6 news. a brown deer officer charged with aggravated battery will be in court today. angelcia is here with a look at the day ahead. 27-year-old devon kraeumer was charged with aggravated battery after a shooting on a county bus. investigators say the driver waved down two brown deer police officers following a confrontation on the bus. they pulled manuel burnley junior off the bus and tried to handcuff him. complaint, surveillance video showed burnley on his stomach, face down and officer kraemer firing one shot into his back. the officer later told investigator she could not see burnley's left arm and felt threatened. burnley lost part of his lung, has fractured rib fragments and the bullet remains in his body. he never faced any charges stemming from this incident. officer kraemer has been placed on paid administrative leave. this is the first time in a decade a milwaukee area police officer has game one of the world series is in the book and the chapter is all about the indians. cleveland pitcher corey kluber became the first pitcher in world series history games to strikeout 8 batters in a game in the first 3 innings. the cubs had no chance!
