new developments in the efforts to free convicted murderer steven avery his attorney could file a today.. deandra corinthios is live in milwaukee with the latest steven avery's attorney has given those who believe avery is innocent...new hope. recent tweets hint at new evidence...even a new suspect in the case. avery and his nephew ... brendan dassey ... have been in prison for nearly a decade ... convicted of the 2005 murder of theresa halbach. it's been nearly two weeks since a federal judge overturned brendan dassey's conviction. the state retry dassey ... or to release him from prison. avery is serving a life sentence. but in a tweet last month his attorney kathleen zellner promised "a tsumani of new evidence is on the way." she tweets about her visits to steven avery...in prison in milwaukee... will be in court. angelica's following that in studio. the three men are accused of breaking into clark's beer and liquor store near 47th and burleigh. it's one of several businesses police say criminals targeted during the sherman park unrest. 45-year-old with burglary. 22-year-old joseph lindsey and 20-year- old devon love are each charged with entry into a locked building. around midnight sunday, august 14th... surveillance video shows several men inside the dark liquor store with flashlights. soon, many more begin to crowd into the store, smashing glass cases and pulling liquor off of shelves. some covering their faces with their shirts. the owner of clark's liquor estimates the total amount stolen plus the damage could reach changes to the make-up of the milwaukee police department. state representative leon young says he will be proposing legislation that would require 40 percent of all new milwaukee police officer hires-- to come from low income zip codes. he says m-p-d would then be more representative of the people it polices. alderman bob donovan chairs the city public safety committee. he doesn't oppose the idea, but says candidates still
