digits. expect flurries and some light snow showers throughout the day. high temperatures will reach into the middle and upper 20s with wind chills in the teens. overnight lows drop into the teens to right around 20. filtered afternoon sun expected friday as a high pressure passes to our south then snow showers move in saturday evening and continue sunday. behind the snow we see even colder air move into southeast wisconsin. highs will only reach into the teens with lows in the single digits. today: scattered flurries/light snow showers. windy and cold. high: 27 wind: nw 10-20 mph tonight: mostly cloudy. low: 20 wind: nw 5-15 mph h following a shooting and a crash... but first-- police are searching for suspects in a double murder investigation. angelica joins us from the newsroom with new information. investigations are underway this morning after police find a man and woman shot to death in bed. officers were called to appleton and florist around 1-30 this morning after a neighbor heard gunshots and screaming. when police arrived, they found a man and woman-- in their 30's-- shot multiple times in bed. police say a teen and an 11 year the children were not hurt. police say they are investigating this shooting as a homicide. no word on any suspects at this time as police continue to investigate. this story is still developing. deandra corinithios will have an update from the scene in a live report at five. meanwhile-- police are called to 36th and thurston after a man crashed into a home. it happened around 9-30 last night. people in the area tried helping the man-- who was found not were performing life saving measures, officers found the victim had been shot. he died at the scene. officials say the man is in his 60's and is from out of town. police are still searching for suspects as the investigation continues. jessob. back to you. developing overnight... police are investigating an armed robbery at the wing stop restaurant near 76th and good hope. it happened just before 8-30 last night. police say the suspect showed a handgun during the robbery and was able to get a tray of m no one was hurt but police are still searching for the suspect. the suspect is described as a black man, about five foot three. he was wearing a green vampire mask, grey sweatshirt, grey pants and gloves. if you have any information-- call police. a middle school couple is charged as adults, accused of making a kill list... according to a criminal complaint, 15-year-old jasminne piechocki and her boyfriend, 14-year- old darryl roeschen were talking on wanted killed.her mother read the conversation and told school officials. the complaint states the students admitted to having the conversation, with piechocki saying she has a dark mind. roeschen told administrators he thought it was a joke and he never intended to kill anyone.the juveniles are being charged as adults and are currently being held in the racine county juvenile detention center. in wauwatosa-- one person is in custody -- accused of threatening the police department. but police threats of violence made since monday. that's when it was announced that no charges will be filed against the officer who shot and killed jay anderson. wauwatosa police say they're keeping all their officers in the loop while the investigation continues. "we understand this is a dangerous profession, our officers remain vigilant when we're both on duty and off duty and we are keeping them apprised of the information we're receiving." the district attorney's office will review the threat arrest in the community-- coming together to remember 7-year-old trevion winningham. investigators say the boy was badly bruised and malnourished when he died at the hospital last week. etter hughes and mary martinez were watching the boy and his 9-year old brother... and they are now facing child neglect charges. in 2003, hughes was convicted of child neglect and sentenced to 18 months in prison after one year old bryan alston died in her care. that childs grandmother, april alston, says winningham's death could hughes been behind bars longer. aa 'he was just thrown around like a beanbag.' aa 'our court system period is failing miserably across the board in my opinion.' hughes is due back in court next week. more than 400 missing ballots in greenfield turn up seven days into the wisconsin recount... the election commission will be greenfields numbers werent matching up... so the clerk, jennifer goergen, called her office workers and told them, look for misplaced ballots. they found 412 of them in the office. they then spent three plus hours trying to get the numbers to match. the head of the election commission wasnt happy. im not talking about some detailed plan, but a plan, because its vital that this never happens again whats the explanation for what happened tonight? ill just say, the board of canvass will rule tomorrow and id like it to be made public at that point. like i said, there were ballots that were and brought here. and the numbers all matched for the most part :17 well know more once the board rules tomorrow :20 what do you think about what the chairwoman said... :25 goergen does think she got most of the ballots matched up. the commission will have to them all. meanwhile, the city of milwaukee finished its work. and at least 70 percent of the votes statewide have been recounted. president-elect trump still holds a 22-thousand vote lead. and in michigan-- a federal judge who ordered the state to begin its recount has effectively ended it. he tied his decision to an appeals court ruling. the ruling found that green party candidate jill stein had no legal standing to request another look at ballots. the court said stein -- who finished fourth in michigan -- did not have a chance of winning even after a recount. st michigan supreme court. bmo harris-- announcing plans for a new office tower to replace its parking structure. the formal announcement will be today-- but our partners at the milwaukee business journal released these renderings last night. the bank tower would face water street across from city hall. new parking structures would be built to the east facing north broadway. we all know by now that the injuries this season have hurt the packers at multiple against the seahawks. tim van vooren with more from lambeau field. and dangerous is still at large... after shooting two officers -- killing one. investigators say it happened near georgia southwestern university yesterday morning. police say the two officers responded to a domestic dispute when 32-year-old minguel lembrick shot his injuries... and a university officer is in critical condition. a 30-thousand dollar reward is now being offered for the arrest of lembrick. right now-- police in south carolina are searching for a suspect wanted for stabbing an officer at a walmart. officials say she was responding to a shoplifting call. columbia police tweeted out this picture of the suspect. he ran after stabbing the female officer... authorities say the officer is in stable condition. columbia police are also looking for an escaped inmate. they say life sentence for armed robbery and assault and battery with intent to kill. new details about president-elect donald trump's picks to join his team. as his deal to save jobs with carrier is
