"rev group" is one of just 6 finalists-- and they've already been selected to build prototypes. and if the milwaukee company wins the bid-- it could lead to roughly two thousand jobs. "this is a significant step and it's something that's a part of our plan to do everything we can to create family supporting jobs right here in the heart of the community." it will be a while be "rev group" says the contract will actually be awarded toward the end of 2017. cleanup is underway after heavy rain led to flooding in the western part of the state last week. more than 11-inches of rain fell in some areas. two people in vernon county died in the flooding. governor scott walker declared a state of emergency in 13 counties. in de soto, red cross volunteers have been out assessing property damage. many homes are a complete loss -- forcing homeowners to stay in shelters. work with them and say this is serious this is bad, but we need to move on. so i try to work with them on recovery and the next step" on. so i try to work with them on recovery and the next step" the red cross says they are also working to bring in clean drinking water to they area... officials say the water there is contaminated and should not be used. a woman is in critical condition this morning... after a shooting on milwauke it happened a little before 11 sunday morning near 26th and michigan. the 47-year-old victim was found in a home. police say they're still investigating the circumstances. police are also investigating a drowning at mitchell park lagoon. the milwaukee fire department pulled a man out of the lagoon yesterday morning. he was rushed a hospital... where he later died. investigators don't suspect foul play. no word if drugs or alcohol played a factor in this incident. the packers... celebrating a win in their home opener at lambeau against the lions. things got a little too close for comfort toward the end... but luckily... even with some key players on the bench... the packers were able to run out the clock.
