"we really need it." she cast her vote for president saturday morning. at milwaukee's downtown zeilder building. "that's out goal, is to get the word out." shirley bordeaux provided the ride. she's a member of citizen action wisconsin, "publicizing the number so people know they have an opportunity to go even if they don't drive." a few weeks ago in milwaukee but until now didn't include saturday and sunday. "we really developed a schedule to ensure that any person who wants to early votes before the election has the opportunity to cast their ballot." not only has milwaukee expanded its voting hours, earlier this week the city opened two satellite polling places. "previous presidential election the highest number of early of voters that we've had is 37,000 and we're already a third of the way there." until election day. "the weekend is the very best." but like we said before, zakia patterson wasn't going to miss out. now that time is on her side.
