North side a teenage girl is shot to death inside her home tonight. Police are now working to find out who did it. A. J. In this lot, relatives of the victim waited for information and were crushed when they got the worst possible news. Shortly after kendra haney learns her sister has been murdered, she tells those around her that 15yearold Melanie Johnson loved to read and was a good babysitter. Im sorry for my mama, im sorry for my other siblings, im sorry i just really need to know who did this. Milwaukee police say theyre trying to answer that question. Monday night, an inspector tells us police have no suspect and no motive, adding its too soon to tell if johnson was the intended target.
