custody. and the circumstances leading up to the shooting are unclear at this time as milwaukee police continue their investigation. reporting live on milwaukees west side. julie collins. fox 6 news. bev thanks julie it's time for your news and weather together. another instance of clowns creating chaos. this time, at a milwaukee daycare. what most likely was meant as a prank -- caused a chain reaction of big problems. last night, teens dressed as clowns spooked children through the daycare center near 52nd and center. the prank frightened children so much... ?a seven-year-old girl left the daycare-- unnoticed-- and ran seven blocks to her grandma's house. the child was found safe... but the mother was upset the daycare said it was a chaotic situation... but doors cannot be locked on the inside for fire safety. shot and killed supposedly by his own employee. charges have been filed in connection with the murder of cafe. jason small -- has been charged with the murder of his boss last week. at the home where police found small -- they also found plastic gloves, covered in blood and a security camera system from the cafe. the footage showing how it all unfolded. lewis was found in a walled-off section of the cafe basement with three gunshot wounds. lewis will be laid to rest saturday and buried with full military honors. the family hope to keep his memory the debate for wisconsin's senate seat is putting republican senator ron johnson up against democratic challenger russ feingold tonight. the debate begins at 7 -- and you can watch it right here on fox6 and streaming on fox6now dot com. the debate will be followed by an hour long "you decide election special." we'll have team coverage of the debate, break down other election issues and the race for with lows in the 50s. clouds will move in during the day tomorrow, and so will a strong breeze from the southwest at 10-20 mph. highs will be well above average, near 70. tonight: mostly clear. low: 53 dewpoint: 46 wind: ssw 3-9 delafield family's home security system captures a vehicle zipping around a school bus about to stop... and comes within a couple feet of hitting children. police say it's a dangerous move -- but perfectly legal. fox6's madeline anderson joins us live in the studio to explain why. the reason stems back to the color of the bus' tail lights. while old buses have the standard red flashing lights.. new buses have both red and amber lights... creating some confusion among drivers about what last friday morning... lisa harshbarger and her children were outside their house on nagawicka road waiting for the school bus to pick them up. as our bus was almost to a stop, an suv went between our children and the bus. her garage's security cameras captured the whole incident... showing less than two seconds go by from the time the suv is neck and neck with the bus to the time the bus comes to a were not being careful at that moment, this is easily something that could have been a tragic accident. police were able to track down the driver but officers were unable to give her a citation. that's because state law says it's only illegal to go around a school bus if either the red lights are on or the stop sign is out. in this case, the amber lights were on, which simply alerts drivers that the bus is preparing to stop. absolutely stunned. as was anybody who has seen the video. enforce the law when a school bus is stopped with the proper color lights flashing... harshbarger says she now wants to get legislators involved. to look at this video and the current law and recognize that there are some loopholes now that arent protecting our children. in the meantime, parents have to be incredibly careful with their children at bus stops because drivers will not be cited for this type of behavior. delafield police say the driver about her behavior on the road. you can review the law and what the different lights on school buses mean when you visit fox6 now dot com or the fox6 news app. just search "amber lights." the packers defensive backs will have to game plan for one of the biggest cowboys weapons. but will he be on the field sunday? looking for more consistency. brandon cruz has aaron rodgers thoughts on that coming up next from when he started to where he is now" a camp that's about more than just having fun.
