straight line and quietly moving with the officers. while an mpd spokesman says no students were injured... anna marie salvera fears they'll be emotionally scarred from the incident. im sure theyre probably going through some trauma. it was pretty horrendous. the lamers general manager says the children were shielded from the scene as they exited the bus and says he doesn't believe they even knew what was going on. he says the driver has been with the company for 25 years and has a clean record. she'b driving duties though until the investigation is complete. an mps spokeswoman would not comment on the incident. investigators are still trying to determine what led up to the crash. reporting live on the south side madeline anderson fox6 news. ted thanks madeline tragedy in iowa today -- when two police officers are killed in their cars just minutes apart. details of exactly what fox6's stephanie grady is in the newsroom with what we know right now. the two officers were found shot to death in their respective squad cars early this morning. it was just after 1 a-m that the urbandale officer was found. about 30 minutes later is when the des moines police officer was discovered a few miles away. "it doesn't appear that either officer had an opportunity to interact with the suspect. it doesn't look like there was an exchange of conversation seven hours. eventually -- 46-year-old scott michael greene was arrested after surrendering to an iowa department of natural resources employee... "flagged down a dnr employee, presented his driver's license to him and told him to call 911. from there, the deputies took him into custody without incident." police say green was known to authorities -- and had recently been in an altercation after flying the confederate battle flag during a police have not mentioned any possible motive for the shootings at this point -- other than calling them ambush-style. the deceased officers have been identified as des moines p-d sergeant anthony beminio -- and urbandale police officer justin martin. we'll be sure to keep you updated on this developing story as we learn more. mary thanks steph reward money is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the death of a saudi arabian student studying at u-w stout. relations is offering a five-thousand dollar reward for tips... and the chancellor at u-w stout ?has added a 15-thousand dollar reward. police found hussain saeed al-nah-di about two a-m sunday in downtown menomonie. he was unconscious and bleeding from his mouth and nose. witnesses say the victim was assaulted by a man who ran off before being caught. a woman who just recently pleaded guilty to killing her the kenosha county district attorney's office confirms lucia hernandez-alvarez was found dead this morning. the racine county sheriff's office will now investigate what happened. just last month -- she pleaded guilty in the deaths of her one year old son and three year old daughter. a trial on her mental state was planned for next week. you decide coverage.... donald trump has a lot of work to do -- if he's going to pull off a surprise win in wisconsin. but there's hope for republicans -- coming from the u-s senate race here with the latest marquette law school poll results. the last one before election day -- it shows ron johnson outperforming donald trump in wisconsin. it would take something truly dramatic, i think that's marquette law poll director charles franklin, on what could move the needle in wisconsin over the final week of the presidential race. hillary clinton holds a six point lead over donald trump. that's virtually unchanged from last month's seven point lead.the that could be significant to the investigation of clinton's private server -- had little lasting impact on voters. clinton fell only five points after the news broke on friday. compare that to trump -- who sank 20 points last month in the days after video showed him bragging about groping a woman. theres one really major difference. that is, the trump video was the voice of the candidate themselves speaking, so it was clear who was speaking and what wisconsin republicans want the gop to put all its focus in the u-s senate race. where ron johnson now trails russ feingold by a single point.feingold had a double digit lead a year ago. were not talking about day and night changes. were talking about gaining a couple or three points this time, and a couple or three points next time, and cumulatively its added up to turning a race that was very lopsided a year ago into one thats very that explains the deluge of t-v ads we're seeing in the last couple of weeks on this race, which even national republicans expected johnson to lose. the johnson campaign told me it's a sign of a clear shift in momentum. feingold's campaign says it has the clear advantage -- pointing to strong early voting numbers in milwaukee and madison. we have the complete poll results in our story on fox6 now dot com click the "politics" tab. as we enter the closing days of the election -- both donald trump and hillary clinton are not wasting any time... "we need to do everything we can." both candidates are crisscrossing the country to make their final pitch to voters -- especially those in battleground states. today -- donald trump is making three stops in florida after rallying supporters yesterday in eau claire. meanwhile -- hillary appearing in arizona and nevada. both pushing a similar message -- the importance of casting a ballot. and it isn't just the candidates hitting the road -- their surrogates are also busy making stops on their behalf. and one of those stops is right here in milwaukee today -- with bernie sanders campaigning for hillary clinton. he'll be rallying supporters at turner hall in milwaukee. fox 6' s ashley sears is there live -- as people are gathering for the event. the rally will get started in about 30 minutes. rival has been campaigning on her behalf in wisconsin. the vermont senator has made several appearance here in wisconsin-- clinton has not made a single visit in the general election. and she continues to have a lead in the polls. the latest marquette law school poll shows clinton up by six points. with less than a week away from election day, clinton is campaigning in key battleground states. supporters emails--they are standing by the democratic nominee. being tried out this month removes warrants for unpaid tickets and citations, and reinstates drivers licenses and car registrations. going to make it to that job or i'm going to jail just over some stories, it was primarily a municipal citation around 2009 and they came up recently on a consumer report and as a result i was denied consideration for employment but the same goals as altjuan jeter. i get my license back and reinstated. sixty dollars. can go to work. i can pay this fine off. that's all that matters you're happy. i'm gratetful there are an estimated 100- thousand warrants in near timmerman airport. when store workers confronted him -- he took off. a red kettle was stolen from the same walmart last christmas season. the actual salvation army's red kettle campaign begins this friday at the milwaukee public market. three people are in custody -- after leading police on a chase in a stolen car and crashing near i-43 and good hope road. late last night, milwaukee polce armed robbery -- and the suspects took off. just south of brown deer road -- the driver lost control and crashed into a ditch. police arrested all 3 in the car at the scene of the crash. the first public hearing on governor scott walker's transportation budget proposal will take place next month. the budget faces a nearly one billion dollar shortfall. the governor does not want to raise taxes to fill the deficit. assembly republican leaders are not happy with the plan and are working to develop an alternative. the hearing will take place on toss to weather weather rain will taper off this 'well whenever you see this many city trucks and the police here, youre thinking, oh my gosh, what went wrong? this is what went right.' down.' but this wasnt just any tree. rex hayes and anna maria wallaces massive colorado spruce is the 2016 city christmas tree. they planted it more than two decades ago when it just three feet tall. and after submitting it for the past few years, were finally chosen. 'finally they called me two weeks ago and said, rex, guess what. and i kind of fell apart and said, youre kidding me! ' 'it was really exciting. i didnt know there was so much to it. but it really happened fast.' from h the tree was carefully placed on the bed of a truck, and slowly transported to its final destination right outside city hall - instead of in red arrow park like in years past. 'we had remembrances this summer for the orlando shootings, for what happened in paris. and we had hundreds of people right outside city hall. and we thought, lets refreshen this. lets bring this ceremony back to city hall, because we had so many people there.' "i mean they essentially had a party on the boats and we just his boat was one of a dozen broken into and ransacked in late october. 17-year-old nathaniel labarge and 19-year-olds joshua richardson and jorge rojas face one count of burglary. richardson faces an additional count, arson of property. he's accused of torching this boat, estimated at 60-thousand dollars. now a total loss. richardson wouldn't talk to police without a lawyer. according to the criminal complaint traces of blood and a dropped cell phone lead police to rojas. he and labarge admitted breaking both say they were high at the time. labarge claims he left before much of the damage was done. the damage ranges from spray paint..broken windows...stolen liquor and property. the marina is now working on security upgrades. "we're working on upgrading our cameras we're still waiting on estimates on that." he says there are also talks of overnight security. one piece of good news-- an item thought to be stolen was recovered.
