Some parents who i spoke with today were unsure if they were going to send their kids to school. They were spooked by the message and said they were concerned whether sent from the username creepyclown123. A threatening message to murder kids was sent to several students at hawthorne elementary school. Right now this is a hot topic in the school among the student and they are scared. Messages circulated to a network of parents. Warning a student was part of the creepy clown group. And planned to bring weapons on october 12th. They still are not aware of who it is at this time Rebekah Aguilera says shes troubled she learned about the incident from nearly a week after it was first reported to the school and police. They should reassure parents its being taken care of. That can be very scary if they come home from school scared from a situation that happened i need be aware of it otherwise there is no way i can comfort them any reassuring information to provide them with parents didnt get any reassurance until tuesday morning. Police responded immediately and determined the threat was not credible a voicemail and letter explained to parents that the investigation began the threat was sent using an app call called musical. Ly, which has a feature allowing students to send messages to each other anonymously. Waukesha police and the School District its department are working to identify the source of these messages. They also plan to remove the app from all student devices. And an age restriction. Which wasnt followed as evidenced by this shooting. About a block from the onyx, joe quin says the nightclub had cut down on the problems after it reopened in 2014. I didnt even know the nightclub was open cause there were no incidents. Its license in 2013 because of violence including a shooting that wounded a guard. Run properly, its good for the neighborhood; its good for the community. One year later, the Licensing Committee gave onyx another chance Jerrell Jones would be the new majority owner while former owner obiora obi would only have a 45 percent stake. And up, Licensing Committee chairman Tony Zielinski says things were good. There werent any issues at the club under new ownership. So last year, the committee relaxed that age limit. Multiple shooting incidents would follow, including one in may where a fight left one guy unconscious, two men fired 14 shots on the parking lot, and police recovered three firearms, including a stolen handgun and an ak47 style weapon. Onyx had its license renewed in july but with a 45day suspension and the minimum age rule back ip then early sunday morning, police say a 23yearold woman was critically injured in a shooting outside the club. A 22yearold woman is in custody for the crime. Saying it started with a dispute inside. When fox 6 told zielinski about the shooting, he wasnt happy. Last night, officers spotted the car near 35th and lloyd. After a short pursuit the suspect crashed the car. While officers were attempting to arrest the 25yearold man, they say he started punching them. Police found drugs in the car. The suspect is a convicted felon with a criminal history spanning years.
