we want to bring them to justice.' initial reports indicate bank. if you have any information...you can contact the a-t-f or milwaukee police. reporting in milwaukee dc fox6 news. a mother is relieved her son won't face any more charges. the teen was caught on camera attacking a racine county correctional officer. he was found not guilty by reason of insanity. the sheriff says it's disappointing. ashley sears has this fox6 exclusive. me. it's a ruling this racine mother-- has been waiting to hear. 13:14 you could see this is a child with mental history. her son, 17-year-old deonte anderson may soon be out of the racine county jail. anderson has been an inmate there for months. he was charged with armed robbery--then while on the inside-- this-- anderson was seen attacking a dangerous and important of a job these officers face each and everyday.". last thursday, a judge ruled anderson was not guilty by reason of insanity. his mother says he's been dealing with mental illness for some time. bipolar schizophrenic, homicidal, suicidal, he talks to himself. or has friends that no one else knows. she claims his attack on the officer was brought on by abuse in jail.. they were making his condition and his problem even worse behind closed doors. but tells fox 6 in a statement: he is "...not aware of any allegations of abuse. should there be an allegation we will investigate." adding "it is not uncommon for inmates to complain to their loved ones with false allegations of abuse."this mother will continue to stand by her son. now waiting for what will happen to him next. im going to keep fighting. given the violent nature of the offense, he has concerns about how quickly the ruling was made. meanwhile, anderson remains in custody-- and will have a review hearing next month. a domestic violence situation escalates to murder.... and now the suspect is in custody. police were called to the area of 75th and glenbrook -- after two people were shot monday night. a 57-year-old woman was taken to the hospital. 30-year-old kortni thornton died at the scene.police say the suspect is a 32-year-old man that she investigation-- the case will go to the district attorney's office for charges. a man with ties to milwaukee has been arrested for the death of a toddler whose remains were found in a lagoon last september. chicago police charged 41-year old kamel harris with murder after they found the boy's blood inside his vehicle. 2-year old kie-ron kyrian knox was in harris' care when he disappeared.police say harris harris was already in a northern illinois jail on unrelated charges when he was arrested. a serial carjacker is sentenced to 41 years in prison. police say brandon newson was just 17 years old when his crime spree began. he was charged with 7 carjackings-- affecting 10 victims in just a week's time. newson was released from lincoln hills juvenile corrections in february of 2015. these crimes were committed just three mo the milwaukee man who police say hit and killed a 5-year-old is now facing criminal charges. 30-year-old sherman liddell of milwaukee...is now charged with one count of hit- and- run resulting in death-- and one count of driving with a suspended license resulting in death. liddell has seven prior convictions of driving with a suspended license. according to the criminal complaint, girlfriend's s-u-v, when ric-kyia langham darted into the street. that's when he hit her. it was said in court, that him leaving the scene made his situation much worst than it had to be. 'had he stayed there... this may not have been a criminal charge or at least not as serious as it is now.' liddell is due in court later this month. a southwest airlines employee is shot and killed in oklahoma... what we know about the shooter. as house speaker. ...what ryan is saying about his second term. plus... "this notice is just a further indication of how sophisticated and creative that scammers and reports nikhil hutheesing says this latest scam targets people with insurance through the affordable care act, alleging they owe additional money for their coverage.a closer look reveals several red flags. the first is the email itself. "the irs will never send you an email out of the blue. you should know that if money is owed the notice will be sent by regular mail." another red flag - the fake notice instructs that the check, in this case for $325, be made out to i-r- s. united states treasury, not the irs." and, where you send the check is also probably phony. the irs says the address on this one in austin, texas is not an official processing center. we want to bring them to justice.' initial reports indicate bank. if you have any information...you can contact the a-t-f or milwaukee police. reporting in milwaukee dc fox6 news. a mother is relieved her son won't face any more charges. the teen was caught on camera attacking a racine county correctional officer. he was found not guilty by reason of insanity. the sheriff says it's disappointing. ashley sears has this fox6 exclusive. me. it's a ruling this racine mother-- has been waiting to hear. 13:14 you could see this is a child with mental history. her son, 17-year-old deonte anderson may soon be out of the racine county jail. anderson has been an inmate there for months. he was charged with armed robbery--then while on the inside-- this-- anderson was seen attacking a dangerous and important of a job these officers face each and everyday.". last thursday, a judge ruled anderson was not guilty by reason of insanity. his mother says he's been dealing with mental illness for some time. bipolar schizophrenic, homicidal, suicidal, he talks to himself. or has friends that no one else knows. she claims his attack on the officer was brought on by abuse in jail.. they were making his condition and his problem even worse behind closed doors. but tells fox 6 in a statement: he is "...not aware of any allegations of abuse. should there be an allegation we will investigate." adding "it is not uncommon for inmates to complain to their loved ones with false allegations of abuse."this mother will continue to stand by her son. now waiting for what will happen to him next. im going to keep fighting. given the violent nature of the offense, he has concerns about how quickly the ruling was made. meanwhile, anderson remains in custody-- and will have a review hearing next month. a domestic violence situation escalates to murder.... and now the suspect is in custody. police were called to the area of 75th and glenbrook -- after two people were shot monday night. a 57-year-old woman was taken to the hospital. 30-year-old kortni thornton died at the scene.police say the suspect is a 32-year-old man that she investigation-- the case will go to the district attorney's office for charges. a man with ties to milwaukee has been arrested for the death of a toddler whose remains were found in a lagoon last september. chicago police charged 41-year old kamel harris with murder after they found the boy's blood inside his vehicle. 2-year old kie-ron kyrian knox was in harris' care when he disappeared.police say harris harris was already in a northern illinois jail on unrelated charges when he was arrested. a serial carjacker is sentenced to 41 years in prison. police say brandon newson was just 17 years old when his crime spree began. he was charged with 7 carjackings-- affecting 10 victims in just a week's time. newson was released from lincoln hills juvenile corrections in february of 2015. these crimes were committed just three mo the milwaukee man who police say hit and killed a 5-year-old is now facing criminal charges. 30-year-old sherman liddell of milwaukee...is now charged with one count of hit- and- run resulting in death-- and one count of driving with a suspended license resulting in death. liddell has seven prior convictions of driving with a suspended license. according to the criminal complaint, girlfriend's s-u-v, when ric-kyia langham darted into the street. that's when he hit her. it was said in court, that him leaving the scene made his situation much worst than it had to be. "this notice is just a further indication of how sophisticated and creative that scammers and reports nikhil hutheesing says this latest scam targets people with insurance through the affordable care act, alleging they owe additional money for their coverage.a closer look reveals several red flags. the first is the email itself. "the irs will never send you an email out of the blue. you should know that if money is owed the notice will be sent by regular mail." another red flag - the fake notice instructs that the check, in this case for $325, be made out to i-r- s. united states treasury, not the irs." and, where you send the check is also probably phony. the irs says the address on this one in austin, texas is not an official processing center.
