in the a dumpster. according to a criminal complaint, he told police he was "tired of her" and the fact she "seemed to stir a lot of controversy." she was found a day later. 21:52 "i cannot condemn him. i am not angry. i feel like i should be, but i am not." on this night there is a message of forgiveness-- 28:13 "remind us to be loving." and peace-- 28:22 "remind us that we are all part of one human family" because even in the darkest place-- this family is comforted-- saying they will always see the light. is in a better place." fumich faces three felony charges including first degree intentional homicide. if convicted, he faces life behind bars. meantime, cantwell will be laid to rest friday. live in the newsroom, ashley sears fox 6 news. is he faking it? state psychiatrists say a man accused of killing his neighbors in milwaukee may have been trying competent for trial. fox 6's ben handelman with the new report that may change the entire trial. it was a henious crime--- thats left three dead. in his previous appearences--- dan popp has been wheeled into the courtroom. popp is accused of killing his neighbors jesus manso perez, and my and pia voo in front of their children in march at their apartment building at 92nd and beloit. popp has not been jail. instead, a judge sending him to mendota mental h for treatment, and to determine if he is mentally fit to stand trial. a doctors report given to the court last week, state psychiatrists say they do believe dan popp is now fit to stand trial. in fact, one psychiatrist believes popp has been largely faking his symptoms. after a series of mental helath evaluations--- a doctor notes popps scores 'are strongly characteristic of an individual feigning a mental health disorder.' they also say popp 'appeared especially interested 'not guilty by reason of insanity plea and sentencing options.' family members of the victims have long said the motive of the crime, was not due to the suspects mental health--- but hatred. in a statement--- a family spokesperson writes ' ' popp has a long history of being treated for mental health issues. doctor's are not ruling out if he has bi-polar disorder. but they do rule, he is fit to stand trial. he's due back in court next week. v handelman, fox 6 news. a brazen attack on an 85-year-old man. and police say all but one of the suspects were teenagers. it happened yesterday afternoon near 52nd and auer. lee brown says he was walking down the alley toward his garage-- when he saw the group headed towards him carrying sticks. he says at first he thought they were just headed to the park-- but then they held him up. so, i give em the money. he called 9-1-1 and police picked up the kids just a few blocks away. the youngest suspect was just 13 years old. the case is expected to make its way to the d-a's office in the next few days. milwaukee police are investigating a series of smashed car windows in bay view. at least 40 vehicles were damaged after vandals broke windows last night and the night before. police say they are not aware of anything being stolen. but the damage is extensive. worried about car thefts over the past few months. but last night-- just a lot of people who had a mess to clean up and an insurance company to call. nothing taken. nothing in it...they opened up the counsel a little but there was nothing in the car to take so they're looking for something. no one is in custody. three milwaukee area men are in custody tonight for a massive look. this is just one truckload. in total-- forest county sheriff's deputies seized more than 600 pounds of pot plants. the suspects have not yet been charged. donald trump will be back in wisconsin next week. the presidential nominee was set to attend fall fest in elkhorn... with other republican leaders on saturday. but after a recording surfaced of trump saying lewd remarks about women -- house speaker paul ryan rescinded the invitation. once we learn more about the visit on monday-- we'll be sure in the meantime-- trump is spending a lot of time on twitter. he's calling out house speaker paul ryan who announced this week he was done campaigning for the republican nominee. stephanie grady joins us in studio now with more on a very public feud. this all goes back to comments paul ryan made on a conference call with lawmakers monday morning. he told them he does not plan on campaigning with trump between now and the election. instead - he will focus on preserving his party's hold on congress. saying quote "despite winning the second debate in a landslide every poll , it is hard to do well when paul ryan and others give zero support!" and it didn't stop there. he wrote: "our very weak and ineffective leader, paul ryan, had a bad conference call where his members went wild at his disloyalty." and then: "it is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and i can now fight for america the way i want to." u-w-m professor mordecai lee says he's not surprised by trump's response. "donald trump is very different from being a polished politician he's the opposit ryan he says what's on his mind and that's part of his appeal." paul ryan did not respond to trump's tweets personally. instead a spokesman says "paul ryan is focusing the next month on defeating democrats, & all republicans running for office should probably do the same.'' ryan has been tweeting about policy. back to you. vote will be disqualified. but efforts are being made to keep that from happening. mail in absentee ballots require a witness' signature and their address. but some witnesses haven't been including their municipality. and that's a requirement. the milwaukee election commission was told they'll have to contact the voters and get their permission to use the municipality on the envelope or return the ballots so the voter can complete the we're told there's going to be a hearing on friday to sort it all out.
