Rescue workers searched all day for survivors who may be buried in the rubble. Yesterday they uncovered an eightyearold girl who survived. Crews began searching again at sunrise. Right now the death toll stands at 247, that number is expected to go up. More than 1,000 people have been displaced by the quake and overnight no one was allowed to stay in the town of amatrice where the quake caused the most damage. Back to you. Tim, thank you. A man looking for love ends up being robbed at gunpoint. According to court documents, two men are facing charges for that robbery that happened over the weekend. A kenosha man had been talking with a woman on the dating website plenty of fish. They arranged to meet but when the victim arrived at the address, he was robbed. Family members of one suspect say theyre standing by their relative. He called, talked to my wife. Hes just worried about his case. He said hes innocent and were behind him as family members because we dont think that that report is right. The two suspects will be back in court at the end of the month. A green bay man is behind bars this morning accused of luring four kids into a building and then setting it on fire. All four kids made it out safely. The suspect was in court this week. Police say he lured the kids inside, hit them then started the fire. They quickly learned others may have been in the building and they saw some people fleeing from the scene, including kids. In the investigation, they were able to locate those juveniles and an adult male which they subsequently arrested for arson and several other charges. His mother says he has mental next month the court will determine if hes competent. That suspect is still in jail this morning on a 25,000 bond. First responders in Shawano County near green bay are preparing for the worst. They trained yesterday for an active shooter situation at a local high school. Police officers, firefighters, sheriffs deputies and paramedics all took part in the drill. Officials say they want to make sure all those groups can Work Together if the real thing ever happens. Looking ahead, Sylville Smith will be laid to rest tomorrow. Violence in milwaukee. A Milwaukee Police officer shot and killed him near 44th and auer nearly two weeks ago. At least eight tornadoes hit indiana yesterday. Uprooted trees. The twisters hit near indianapolis,the town of kokomo was one of the places hit hardest. Some people were driving at the time when tornadoes hit that area. A storm chaser caught this funnel cloud on camera. Another driver spotted this twister and pulled out his cell phone. He and several other drivers pulled over and kept their distance. And some of the most dramatic tornado damage happened at a starbucks in kokomo. The entire building collapsed as the storm blew through. Nearby buildings are Still Standing this morning but there is damage to those businesses and homes. Right now, louisiana is dealing with a flooding disaster. More than 60,000 homes have damage after trillions of gallons of rain fell near baton according to president obama, more than 100,000 people have already applied for federal assistance. Now louisianas governor is working with fema on a program that will help the recovery. Its called shelter at home. Kids will be back to schools and attending their schools and businesses can retain their regular customers. The program will offer up to 15,000 dollars to some flood victims for home repairs. Other programs are offering affected by the flood. New this morning, a little girl in louisiana who was not affected by the flooding is helping people who were. Eightyearold taylor henry is using her sewing machine to help flood victims. With the help of her family, shes sewing tissue holders. Her grandmother cuts out the pattern. Taylor is selling the for five dollars each and the money is going to people affected by the i think they are feeling hopeless and praying to god what do i do, and that is why i should help them. Seven of them were students, three policemen and two security guards were also killed. Around 750 students were on campus when the attack began. Police say two attackers stormed the campus with guns and explosives. About ten hours after the attack began, police said the attackers were dead. Its the same university where two professors were kidnapped rece so far no group has claimed responsibility. Well continue to follow the latest information. Right now, survivors of the pulse nightclub shooting back in june are getting some big help. Two hospitals that treated survivors say they will not charge the patients. The medical expenses after the shooting added up to millions of dollars. 53 people were hurt in the attack.
