kimberly just east of appleton. look at this. the owner says he was storing old cars inside. no one was hurt. and heavy rain led to some street flooding and ponding in appleton. here you can see cars the park is happening this afternoon. earlier this week, milwaukee county executive chris abele and sheriff david clarke argued over a judge agreed with abele and issued a temporary restraining order bringing the fence down. today, a court hearing will decide if that decision is permanent and when the park will open and close. >> later today, a debate over whether the game pokemon go should stay in a milwaukee park. the game has gotten people across the country more active. players have to explore outside in order to catch characters. milwaukee's lake park has become a hot spot for pokemon players, but people who live around the park are not happy with the extra traffic both cars and on foot. later today, county officials will be at lake park to answer questions about pokemon go and the impact it's having on the park. the meeting starts at 6:30. >> happening now, local students are trying to figure out what to do next when a college closes its doors unexpectedly. tim, what happened to itt tech? >> the campus in greenfield itt technical institute is a for-profit college with more than 130 campuses in 38 states. thousands of students are looking for answers about their future now that it's closed. the company that runs the school is based in indiana and they've been under investigation. the u.s. department of education issued sanctions against the company including banning them from enrolling new students who use federal financial aid. once that decision came down, the company closed down. that affects around 35,000 students and 8,000 employees. >> happening now, cudahy high school students are getting ready to head back to school after an unexpected afternoon off. they were sent home early yesterday when the air conditioning system broke. with the high temperatures, it was too hot inside the building. cudahy's superintendent tells wisn 12 news classes are back on today. wisconsin teachers are getting money from a surprising place, former senator herb kohl. kohl funded every wisconsin classroom request on the crowdfunding site donors choose dot org. nearly 700 teachers will have extra supplies for their classrooms, everything from school supplies to electronics. the donation adds up to half a million dollars. >> it's a decision that could impact how much you pay for school supplies. later today, governor scott walker will give more details he wants a back to school sales tax holiday in the budget next year through 2019. it would give families a chance to buy school supplies and other products without paying sales tax. >> now that school's back in session, people up north are waving goodbye to summer. locals in minocqua took that literally they waved goodbye as summer tourists headed out of town on labor day. on their way out of town. illinois border. there is a flood watch covering a good portion of southern wisconsin for tonight. we are expecting an inch or two of rain, maybe a little better than that tonight. these showers and storms are pivoting over the northern counties get a moderate rain this morning. these storms are not severe. take a look, it is all lined up along the boundary. that is the best chance of the showers nightclub attack is back home. tim is here with the latest. >> great news this morning. the hospital in orlando confirms that the last survivor has been released. it's been months since the attack on pulse nightclub which killed 49 people and hurt dozens more. the orlando regional medical center has treated 35 patients from the shooting and performed more than 75 operations. last month, that hospital and florida hospital both announced they will not bill any of the survivors for medical care. the hospitals could end up paying $5 million out of pocket. ben, over to you. >> developing now, a violent year continues in chicago. the city reached 500 homicides over the labor day weekend. that makes 2016 the deadliest year in two decades. in august alone, there were 90 police says the city recovers more illegal guns than new york and los angeles combined. >> happening now, gun sales are skyrocketing. there are no numbers that track gun sales directly, but the fbi says the number of background checks has hit an all-time high. gun sales have been going up for years in the aftermath of deadly shootings as gun buyers worry about potential gun control laws. >> 20 million dollars. that's the settlement that 21st century fox is offering gretchen carlson a former fox news anchor. she sued the network accusing the head of fox news of sexual harassment. roger ailes has since been is sagging to the south in the afternoon and showers and storms in the afternoon. now to the activity throughout the afternoon, at 5:00 this morning, you see we get to 8:00 and we taper off. just a little bit. just a stray s a couple of dry hours. heat is building in the afternoon. that's going to allow for the spotty showers and storms redeveloping. timing and placement is a little difficult, i behind bars after getting away from police last week. police tracked down alonso perez at a home in north las vegas. he escaped from a police station in the same area on friday. police say he broke out of his handcuffs. perez is the suspect in a shooting that happened late last month outside of a mcdonald's. ben? >> thank you, tim. >> happening now, firefighters are working to get a wildfire under control as it threatens 300 buildings in california. we told you about the saddle fire yesterday morning. since then, it's more than doubled in size. is only about a third contained. there are mandatory evacuations in place for the area this morning. >> developing this morning, protesters gather on a runway at a london airport disrupting flights. police arrested nine protestor who had locked themselves together on the runway. the uk branch of black lives matter was behind the protest. they say they were protesting the uk's treatment of black people. >> also happening now in north dakota, a pipeline the getting support. the protestor sprayed the equipment with graffiti and attached themselves to the machinery. they are trying to delay the construction of the oil pipeline so the costs will go up and the combaen will give up. they are saying that the pipeline puts the water supply in danger. >> now among the protestor yesterday, the green party candidate and now she could face criminal charges after spray painting construction equipment. >> a florida man is arrested after flagging down a deputy and asking if he could charge his phone. this began on saturday morning. brendan duffy got the deputy's attention and asked to charge his deputy pulled out a bunch of credit cards and the cards were not in his name and he was arrested. >> he told me they have my card in custody
