closed 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and there is a lot of debate about the hours and as you mentioned, we are talking about sherman park. last month the sheriff david clark had orange fencing put up around the park after a spike of violent unrest in the that lasted until sunday when chris abele had the fencing removed. sheriff david clark disagreed and had the fencing put back up. later the day a judge issued a restraining order stopping from the sheriff closing the park early add ordering the fence to be taken done. there is a court hearing on this this morning and we today a final decision on what homicide. the name of the 34-year-old woman is not released. they are not releasing information that could harm the investigation. the suspect is someone close to her, someone who has a motive. the police are looking at the victim's background. this was an isolated incident and that they believe that the public is not in >> a popular milwaukee restaurant could be forced to close for two weeks because of a licensing issue. the city requires owners of a business with a police report to make an appearance at a license renewal hearing and the owners didn't show up not knowing they needed to. of a plea deal, he admitted to abducting and killing jacob back in 1989. the 53-year-old led the authorities to the body last week after initially denying involvement in the death. the case went cold until agreeing to confess to the murder when pleaing out. he's not going to face state murder charges in the death. we are learning he could face up to 20 years in prison for the federal porn charge. with meteorologist sally severson. sal, you have been tracking the showers that have been moving through overnight and maybe a little break? >> we may get a little break this morning. the southern counties have been getting a break. on the journal times building. we are not done with the rain just yet. the flood watch is continuing for southern wisconsin throughout the evening hours. the cool front is sagging to the south and providing the energy for the rain and the storms. the showers and storms are central and south central. i am focussed on a little bit of a the northern counties. we have a pretty good little line of rain and storms now pivoting across columbia county and this is scraping across parts of jefferson and dodge county. we are not done with the rain and storms, periods of rain and storms throughout the day a. brief lull in the action now to jeremy nelson. >> good morning, sal, good morning, everyone, you mentioned some of the storms up to the north and west, the skies are getting darker here in mequon area. we are looking to the westerly direction. the clouds are racing by. a lot of the action has stayed up to the north. the severe weather overnight was in really parts of the fox a barn here sustained wind damage and in hortonville. now, our focus across southeast wisconsin is on the threat for quick hitting heavy downpours and if moving over the same location over and over you get the flash flooding no. rise along the milwaukee river here. we have seen it to the four before. we are below the one. again new york city concerns along the -- no back to you. >> later today, the battle over sherman park continues. a final decision on whether a fence should surround the park is happening this afternoon. earlier this week, milwaukee county executive chris abele and sheriff david clarke argued over the fence. abele wants it to stay down and clarke wants it to go back up. a judge agreed with abele and issued a temporary restraining order bringing the fence down. today, a court hearing will decide if that decision is permanent and when the park will open and close. >> later today, a debate over whether the game pokemon go should stay in a milwaukee park. the game has gotten people across the country more active. players have to explore outside in order to catch characters. milwaukee's lake park has become a hot spot for pokemon players, but some of the neighbors are upset. >> good morning, ben t pokemon go craze is creating a the people living in the neighborhood are concerned about the crowds and leaving behind the garbage and parking ill legally. to help deal with the extra people, the county is bringing in extra trash cans and police are ticketing illegally parked cars in the neighborhood. the county is trying to make the developer of pokemon go get a proper permit sinz the game is drawing people out to this park. players are saying that most people are being respectful, however, neighbors are concerned about the game and the crowds here at the park, so the officials invited them to have a meeting this evening to talk about this, it is starting at 6:30 at the community center here in lake park. people have a chance to come out and voice concerns and hear what about it. >> mike, thank you. 6:36. >> happening now, local students are trying to figure out what to do next when a college closes its doors unexpectedly. tim, what happened to itt tech? the campus in greenfield along with every campus in the country has closed down. itt technical institute is a for-profit college with more than 130 campuses in 38 states. thousands of students are looking for answers about their future now that c the company that runs the school is based in indiana and they've been under investigation. the u.s. department of education issued sanctions against the company including banning them from enrolling new students who use federal financial aid. once that decision came down, the company closed down. that affects around 35,000 >> now that school's back in session, people up north are waving goodbye to summer. locals in minocqua took that literally they waved goodbye as summer tourists headed out of town on labor day. a steady stream of cars, rv's, trucks and more passed through on their way out of town. residents set out lawn chairs to wave goodbye. on memorial day, locals will be out again rescue when she sees a boy and his father struggling in lake michigan. the lake was dangerous over the holiday weekend with strong currents. sherri talcott is a former lifeguard. she noticed an 11-year-old boy waves so she grabbed a life jacket and went out to help. talcott helped them stay above water until a boat came along and they all climbed aboard. wisn 12 news time now is 6:42. >> treated after the pulse nightclub attack is back home. tim is here with the latest. >> the hospital in orlando confirms that the last survivor has been released. it's been months since the attack on pulse nightclub which killed 49 people and hurt dozens more. from the shooting and performed more than 75 operations. last month, that hospital and florida hospital both announced they will not bill century fox is offering gretchen carlson a former fox news anchor. she sued the network accusing the head of fox news of sexual harassment. roger ailes has since been forced out of the company. he denies the accusations. fox news not only settled with carlson, they also issued an apology for the way she was treated. >> companies like fox do not pay $20 million settlements when there's no there there. the murdochs, who own fox, are convinced ailes was harassing >> more than 20 women have reportedly come forward and made similar accusations. ailes' attorney says he's not contributing any been coming in overnight. tim? >> right now, a homicide suspect is back behind bars after getting away from police last week. police tracked down alonso perez at a home in north las vegas. he escaped from a police station in the same area on friday. police say he broke out of his handcuffs. perez is the suspect in a shooting that happened late last benning back to you. >> happening now, firefighters are working to get a wildfire under control as it threatens 300 buildings in california. we told you about the saddle fire yesterday morning. since then, it's more than doubled in size. it's now burning 850 acres and is only about a third contained. there are mandatory evacuations in place for the area this morning. >> developing this morning, protesters gather on a runway at a london air d flights. police arrested nine protesters who had locked themselves together on the runway. the uk branch of black lives matter was behind the protest. they say they were protesting the uk's treatment of black people. >> happening now, in north dakota, a protest against an oil pipeline is gaining support. protesters sprayed construction equipment with graffiti and attached themselves to the machinery. they're trying to delay so that costs will go up and the company will give up. protesters say the pipeline will put the local water supply in serious danger. >> we're going to green party candidate. and now she could face criminal charges after spray painting construction equipment. after flagging down a deputy and asking if he could charge his phone. this all began saturday morning. officials say brendan duffy got a deputy's attention and asked if he could charge his phone. the deputy stopped and duffy pulled out a bunch of credit cards. the deputy noticed that the cards were not in his name and arrested him. police called the owners of the card. one woman didn't even know hers card in custody and they wanted to know if mr. brendan duffy was authorized to use it and i said he most certainly is not! if i had a pocket full of someone else's cards, i definitely would not pull that pocket out! >> you would think so, right. she got her card back before it had been used.
