Complaint scott had another , child who died while cosleeping with her in 2013. An investigation concluded she had been drinking. And an examination after this second childs death revealed her blood alcohol level was. 18, more than double the legal limit. The neighbor says she alerted scotts family about her drinking. She had been tricking and breastfeeding her son while she had been drinking. Otisia scott has been released on bond but is facing , up to ten years in prison if she is convicted. However, the baby who most recently died was allowed to remain with her. Wisn 12 news tried to get answers from the department of children and families. They just sent us this statement confidentiality requirements in state statute, we cannot confirm or deny that this child was known to child per sector services. As we do in all instances where a child dies from suspected maltreatment, dcf will be conducting a review of this case. According to the medical examiner, there have been ten cosleeping deaths in Milwaukee County so far this year. Three more unsafe sleep deaths are under investigation. Kathy happening now, Milwaukee Police ary bottom of a reported Sexual Assault near a South Side Park and school. Police say a young teenage girl reported she was attacked near clement and warnimont. Nick, so far police dont have a lot to go on. They dont have a suspect description, and late this Afternoon Police confirmed , theyre still talking to the reported victim and witnesses in the area. The time last night that the girl said this happened. The victims family says the girl was walking home when she was sexually assaulted by a man in tippecanoe park. This is a popular area in this community, and most alarming perhaps, the park is next to an elementary school. Parents we talked to were disturbed to hear about it but , Milwaukee Public Schools tell 12 news they have no indication from police the victim is a student here. Still they sent what theyre , calling a safety reminder to parents in the bay view area. Neighbors say the report has them coned yeah, of course it does. It doesnt change necessarily how i feel about the neighborhood at all. We are still glad to be here, just concerning. Again, Milwaukee Police told me they are still working the case. We see them out here right now, but so far, they dont have an arrest. Snow is on its way. This is a scene similar to what you can expect to wake up to this weekend. Chief meteorologist mark baden is keeping an eye on this system. Mark indeed, the scene will look like that on sunday as snow moves in. It is our first measurable snow. We already had snow. As you can see behind me, the recount continues to go on. The judge denying that request to immediately stop it, but at the same time, he allowed this lawsuit challenging the recount to move forward. The lawsuit alleges that Green Party Candidate jill stein shouldnt have been allowed to request the recount in recount is not not done by the december 13 deadline, wisconsin might be at risk of not having its electoral votes counted. I spoke by phone with the head of one of the superpacs filing the suit just as the judge was denying the groups first request. If were unsuccessful and the recount happens, we dont think its going to change the outcome. We just think it will be a wasteful process, and we would hate to see millions of wisconsin voters not have their voices heard in the president ial election. In madison late next week, but by that time, much of the recount across the state could be completed.
