Wisn 12 news terry sater is live at the wisconsin Humane Society, where some of the animals are now recovering. 17 of the rescued dogs are at the Humane Society in milwaukee, at the societys other shelters. The Humane Society called the conditions the dogs were living in heartbreaking. Come on. Harrison is one of more than twenty dogs seized from a home in racine. Two People Living in the home are now charged with multiple counts of mistreating animals. Heather jensen was president of an Animal Rescue organization. Her boyfriend, terry bogard, is also charged. The dogs were well taken care of. They were out several times a day. Brother in law and defended the couples care of the dogs. They had water. They had food in all of their bowls. They used to store food here. The Humane Society released photos today from inside the home. Angela speed was part of the rescue team and said no one , would want their dogs kept in those conditions. You can see from the pictures, there were crates that were stacked upon other crates. Dogs were in crates that were way too small for them. And they didnt have access to one of the officers who responded here said the smell of urine was so strong, he could only stand side the house 30 seconds. Having them in a cage, yeah. And stacked thats on them. , but as for mistreatment, no, those dogs were treated good. The Humane Society says the rescued dogs are still considered evidence and arent available for adoption yet. The Wisconsin Department of agriculture, trade and Consumer Devices at gas pumps across the state. We did a little digging and found the skimmers were located at gas stations in brookfield and franklin. Brookfield Police Say Two skimmers were found last tuesday at the open pantry near calhoun and bluemound. The next day, a device was located at the 711 at 76th and rawson in franklin.
