mayor bill de blasio, in milwaukee to campaign for clinton. mayor de blasio: wisconsin's going to be one of the places where the election's decided. and i think in favor of hillary clinton. terry: new york city mayor bill de blasio campaigned for hillary clinton on the eve of early voting in milwaukee. mayor de blasio: and i encourage people to recognize how precious that responsibility is. and to get out there and vote university law school poll shows a tightening presidential race in wisconsin, with clinton out in front of donald trump by just two points. and those who have yet to make a choice are in double digits. mayor de blasio: that contrast with trump, a billionaire. a guy who's never had to think from the perspective of every day people, middle class people, working people. a guy who's never done any public service. when independents look at that contrast, i think a lot of them are going to go with hillary clinton. terry: but donald trump is returning to waukesha county this week and campaigned this weekend as a champion of working class americans. mr. trump: hillary clinton is interests. i'm running to be the voice of the forgotten men and women of this country. terry: trump will be at the waukesha expo center, wednesday at 6:30. his running mate, governor mike pence, will be in waukesha tuesday, speaking at weld-all manufacturing at 6:30. on the democratic side, there's will return to wisconsin, but her daughter chelsea is expected in the green bay area later this week. wisconsin is in play. live in milwaukee, terry sater, wisn 12 news. adrienne: tomorrow night's presidential debate will air right here on wisn 12. abc news live coverage starts at 8:00 p.m. showers and storms rumbled through the area this afternoon. this is video of the rain coming down near 51st and brown deer in milwaukee, as the storm rolled through. chief meteorologist mark baden joins us now. mark, still a few showers mark: a couple showers hanging on, a cold front moving through right now. it is making it a difference in a lot of ways. there are still a few showers extending from sheboygan back through west bend into central sections of jefferson county. we still have an hour or two where we will have to deal with the showers, then they will start to depart. let's talk about some of those wind will pick up, and it will be a big day tomorrow. the biggest difference will be the dry air. for the first time in a long time coming you might actually need to get the jacket out. how much colder it will get, coming up. adrienne: after a week of criticism from packers, and some of today's unsung heroes. adrienne: investigators are trying to figure out what led up to several water rescues. one man is dead after drowning on milwaukee's south side. richard poblitz out of the mitchell park lagoon. he died at the hospital. and that wasn't the only water incident today. a woman walked into the lagoon on the northwest side. >> she was not yet in any deep, deep water, and they were able to communicate with her and coax her out of the water and get her to safety. adrienne: firefighters recommend that if you're in a water rescue situation, call 911 and don't go into the water yourself. a woman in tonight after being shot inside an apartment on milwaukee's west side. officers found the 47-year-old just before 11:00 this morning near 26th and michigan. we still don't know what led up to the shooting or whether anyone is under arrest. germantown police continue to investigate a fire pit accident that injured three. several people were sitting around a fire early yesterday morning, when somone poured gas on it. two young women got sprayed and burned. they tried to drive themselves into a street sign. they went to the mcdonald's on county line road for help. flight for life took one woman to st. mary's burn center. an ambulance took the other. a man was also badly burned trying to put the fire out on one of the women. milwaukee's mayor will present his next budget tomorrow, and it'll have money for new police officers. mike gousha sits down with mayor barrett, tonight on upfront. mike gousha: how many police people are still demanding answers about the police shooting death of keith lamont scott. police released their video of the shooting this weekend. the images are pretty disturbing. but as abc's eva hands by his side, when 4 shots are fired. >> we got shots fired, one suspect down. eva: the bodycam video showing a different angle. a uniformed officer using a baton trying to break the passenger window to get scott out of his vehicle. then scott is seen standing. after that, the father of seven >> get some gloves. we need to hold the wounds. >> if you're a cmpd officer, your boss is a liar. eva: protestors say the video just raises more questions. >> i think that it implies that the police killed keith lamont scott for no reason. eva: scott's family vowing to find justice for scott. >> it does not make sense to us how it was possible that this incident resulted in the loss of life. eva: eva pilgrim, abc news, charlotte. washington state's deadly mall shooting will face a judge tomorrow. authorities arrested 20-year-old arcan cetin after a day-long manhunt. surveillance video captured the suspect inside burlington's cascade mall, that's where he opened fire friday night. the shooter killed four women and one man. one man is dead and 4 are injured in a pair of shootings at the university of illinois. police say the two shootings, which they believe are related, began at a party in the campus business district. fired a couple blocks west of campus. police are still searching for the shooters. a local business is part of a huge government contract. the mayor just made the announcement today. the company 'rev group' will partner with an automotove -- automotive company to create a prototype for the next generation of u.s. postal service vehicles. they're one of six finalists. if chosen, 180,000 vehicles would be built at the century city warehouse near 30th and capitol. it could create thousands of jobs. >> we felt it was important to present as much information as we could as to the importance of these jobs coming to this neighborhood. and how important it would be for this community to have these family supportive jobs located right here. adrienne: century city made the glass panels for the new northwestern mutual tower. the 84-acre site used to be home to a.o. smith and tower automotive. supporters showed up to fight breast cancer and participate in the susan g. komen race for the cure. one woman we talked to survived breast cancer twice. >> getting through breast cancer really is about just surviving, doing well, and being healthy and getting back to a normal lifestyle. adrienne: and that's exactly what these women and men celebrated today. some thankful for recovery, others honoring loved ones gone too soon. mick, wants people to know breast cancer can hit all ages. >> being diagnosed the first time at 30, i've met women diagnosed in their 20s, in the midst of pregnancy or raising children. adrienne: everyone in this sea of pink has a different story about how the disease impacts them. >> i've seen the loss of my mom and my aunt in this disease, so i know the toll it can take on the family. so that's one reason i decided adrienne: finding strength in numbers and taking time to celebrate the victories. organizers tell us 75% of the funds raised today will stay in southeast wisconsin. the rest will go to national research. ? adrienne: celebrating 175 years at sunday service. today, saint paul's lutheran church near 28th and wisconsin honored its past. german settlers fleeing reli the church on september 26, 1841. we'll show you more of the church's impact on the community, in our next half hour. and speaking of historic buildings, wisconsin's state capitol was just involved in a big mixup. on your left, is the u.s. capitol in washington, d.c. on the right, is the state capitol in madison. similar but not the same. a hotel company didn't catch the difference, using pictures of someone at the washington post newspaper pointed out the mistake. it has now been corrected. the rain is about to move out and our first real cold front of the fall is moving in. mark, tomorrow will feel a lot the difference will be that dew point. i think it is partly sunny with more clouds developing in the afternoon on tuesday. 62 degrees for the high temperature on wednesday. 67 degrees on friday. at this point, next weekend looks a-ok. week is down into the mid-60's. when you get temperatures close to the 70 degrees, enjoy while you can. adrienne: it will feel like fall. we do have some breaking washington post newspaper pointed out the mistake. it has now been corrected. the rain is about to move out and our first real cold front of the fall is moving in. mark, tomorrow will feel a lot to the 50's. -- dew points down to the 50's. you will not sweat as much because there will not be as much moisture in the air. dew point today was up to 70 degrees. the dew point tomorrow will be in the 40's. wind is going to pick up throughout the day. temperatures generally hanging in the 60's. i think we will still get to a high of 70 degrees tomorrow in the afternoon. it will feel a lot morning. will break through. i think we will get some clouds developing in the afternoon. the big story tomorrow will be the wind and cooler air. you say 70 degrees is not that cool, and it is not. the difference will be that dew point. i think it is partly sunny with more clouds developing in the afternoon on tuesday. 62 degrees for the high temperature on wednesday. 67 degrees on friday. at this point, next weekend looks a-ok. week is down into the mid-60's. when you get temperatures close to the 70 degrees, enjoy while you can. adrienne: it will feel like fall. we do have some breaking
