A source close to congressman James Clyburn says he will be publicly endorsing clinton over her rival Bernie Sanders. Clyburn is the highest ranking democrat in South Carolina. Earlier this week, Governor Haley made her decision to endorse the florida senator on his president ial run. Governor haley explained on thursday at an event in anderson why she ultimately chose to endorse rubio instead of his republican rivals. I dont pick people based on whether they can win or not. I pick people based on the fact that i think they can change our country. I know marco rubio can change our country. Governor haley also spoke out about why she didnt choose to endorse jeb bush who is reportedly a friend of hers. She said bush is a great mentor and has helped her along the way but that the president ial election is not about choosing friends.
