chad joins us with more. >> reporter: the line here at the south carolina school is growing as people enter. inside ready for this town hall tonight. and the town hall is actually a continuation of one that started last night, in the upstate in greenville, the first three up. and where senators marco rubio and ted cruz, along with dr. ben car son, tonight, the front runner donald trump will be part of the town hall here at the school of law, jeb bush and governor johns kasich will be there too. of course, there is plenty to talk about and ask about today with when it comes to the candidates, especially donald trump. when asked about donald trump views on immigration, as you heard there, the pope francis said that anyone who wants to build a wall along the u.s. mexican border is not a christian. and it will be interesting to see if trump has more to say tonight to combat that comment and defend his spiritual beliefs. and also look for bush and johns kasich to differentiate themselves from the pack as washington, grid lock and get things done up there and it is also, interesting to see if bush and trump trade some more jabs tonight, and also, some called bush a clown, among other comments about bush. of course, if this town hall forum is anything like it was last night in greenville, the candidates will not be on the stage at the same time, but instead, take turn, answering questions from thehe m merator and we will of course, have more updates and as we bring you up date at what happens here tonight, at eleven. wis news ten. >> anchor: thank you, and politics shifts and changes, and then it goes from a 20 percent chance of showers on monday to a 60 percent chance tuesday, andnd that is a cold day too, at 56 and 57 on wednesday. with the rain chances at 70 making a difference for marco rubio. has a look at him. >> reporter: well, the polls show a really big boost over night for marco rubio following the governor's endorsement and this was done by the american, research group, and take a look, trump is leading, he is in the lead at 33 percent and this is consistent with what we have been seeing, here is the shake up. rubio coming in at 20 percent, and of course, cruz. had been polling above him at this point and so this is the big shape up here and johns kasich, and even over taking cruz. as well. and cruz. coming in fourth at just, 13 percent and then here in the bottom tier we have bush with eight percent and car son with three percent and we know that 7 percent of this poll are undecided and this is just one night of interviews following has perspective on that frmths the only way of doing politics, since on the daily basis, you know, we have had especially in the republican side. an enormous number of candidates and some of them complete, political novice with no two ago, that lack of experience might have been a disqualifier, but these days it is the things that helps to make the candidate worthy of the office and now we used for candidates who articulated our aspirations for a better country. but so far, it indicates that the voters are more interested in candidates on both sides, who shatter the status quo and fight the establishment and the media elite, maybe here in south carolina we saw the start of this in 2012, that is the i couldn'ter that the republicans broke a 3, decade streak and voted for a presidential contender who did not go on to win the nomination. so what happened? many believed that newt won that year because he came out swinging in a debate, against john king about the relationship with his ex-wife, he blasted the media and south carolina gop voters ate it up, compare that to donald trump and his practice of insulting reporters to cover his rallies or his war with fox kelley. love the idea that the candidate who ridicules the media as an institution, but trump is going further, attacks at rivals andself financed and does not have to worry about losing support from funding sources and one of two in the candidates who have never held any elected office and also getting traction at least early was dr. ben car son, another outsider who was less of a politician than trump and a washington insider and 74-year-old, senator, bernie sanders candidate who despite the risk of being branded as a free, spending socialist one who does not need super packs is giving hillary clinton's campaign a serious case of heart burn. more than any presidential election, cycle in modern history, this one is breaking all of the rules. >> and we have been covering politics,
